Just curious but, does it really limit traffic to have a thousand blue members posting Billions of copies of threads that they could of searched for? Oh yes, I went there. <---Poor, Impatient, Mad blue member.

This might of already been suggested about the search function, but here it is: I'm a frequent user of Hack Forums, and what Omni (owner) has done to fix the problem of high traffic using the search function is put a timer on restrictions. Once you use the search function, you can't again for another 30 seconds. You could increase this time to a minute or more, further reducing "search" traffic... but it should be a quick and easy way to fix the problem. I know this would be something to tell garry, but from what I've looked up there's no way to contact him directly. I'm sure he's smart enough to think of this, but just in case it didn't cross his mind... I apologize if this is late, stupid or useless. I thought it'd be nice to suggest.

I never used the search function enough to notice. I only use it to find my past threads and posts, that's the only way this whole thing has been affecting me.

It turns out it wasn't that bad. I got it during the very first time Garry changed the requirements to get gold. I guess that's one benefit of being here for nearly 6 years.
