yes i'm running a MBAM quick scan as well as MSE quick scan. Also one notable thing about MSE; when looking at History and "All detected things" there was something called "OpenCandy Something-Thing" which was supposedly an Ad program. It said it had been removed, but I'm not sure, so I removed it from the list manually. Also Malware Bytes couldn't find anything, neither did MSE. And I'm not sure about extensions. Linked words are still here, :(

Why yes, Extensions, there was this nasty fucker called "Click 2 Save" I'm not sure how it got there, so don't ask me, but I Removed it from Chrome and thus, the linked words are now gone. So yeah thanks! I wonder how I got it in the first place.. And what about the virus, or was it the virus?

You could have just installed something shitty, where they did something like the pre-checked "Install shitty bloatware! (RECOMMENDED)"

this is why chrome should block external installs for extensions

For example one of the people I often talk to is rarely on Steam due to either being on Linux or not being on a computer with Steam on it. So the only way to talk to them most of the time is through FP. I only have no trouble getting to their profile because it's still in my browser history.
