Sweet, it's working.
I don't know why, but I never had any of the problems you fellow FF users were having.
It could just be something simple like you're using a proxy (I don't think Firefox currently handles talking SPDY over a proxy, in released versions), or CloudFlare could just be rolling out SPDY support to only certain users. Or something else could have disabled SPDY support on your computer, who knows.
I was getting that and then I switched to my neighbours wifi and it works like normal. What the hell? [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Whenever I try to visit a thread, I get this: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ErrTC.png[/thumb]
It seems CloudFlare have enabled SPDY on their CDN, but whatever they did causes content to redirect indefinitely, so it just never loads in Firefox. If you go to about:config in Firefox and change "network.http.spdy.enabled" to false Facepunch will load (But remember to change it back when CloudFlare fix their stuff, SPDY is great.)
Ah great, that fixed it. I was getting too many redirects in both firefox and chrome, I had to resort to using opera... (I guess it doesn't support SPDY then?)
I don't know why, but I never had any of the problems you fellow FF users were having.
Are you using the nightly build? I just checked mine and there's three different "network.http.spdy.enabled" entries with the one being labelled v3 being set to false be but the other two being set to true. Perhaps that has something to do with it.
From what I could see, CloudFlare was using SPDY v2. I'm not sure why you have v3 disabled but v2 enabled though? if you want to disable it you should flip the main preference, not one for a specific version.

Could just be a very lucky fluke if that is why some people aren't having issues with it. The Mozilla team has some odd screw ups on some of the nightly builds such as, currently, all images when you view the image itself (not on any site) having a white background even it it's transparent.
Hmm, I'm using a nightly build and both v2 and v3 are set to enabled by default. And the white background is on purpose, when they added the dark background people complained that dark images were hard to see (I think what they eventually want to do is work out the average lightness of the image and use a dark background for a light image and a light background for a dark image)
That's odd then. The only thing I've even tried to do with it since it last updated was attempting to remove the line in the top level image css for the white background except I don't know where they store it now and you can't just save it through the inspect element dialog.

Hi - I'm occasionally getting a problem with posting - It just says 'The Server sent no data'? I'll get a screenshot when I can.
am I the only one forced to use Internet Explorer for this site? :(
I remember on facepunch there was person group/friends things. Why are they gone again?
Did you try this?
looks fixed but it was weird.
With media tags, is it possible to make a YouTube video start at a certain time mark? For example, look at this link. http://youtu.be/qqiSE-ukmgc?t=29s Clicking this will automatically make the video start at 29 seconds. Can we have this happen with embed?
Is it alright if we have the Bad Reading rating back for Sensationalist Headlines only? It would probably stop people from making posts complaining about other people having bad reading.
I think people only do that to try to get someone banned, most of the time it succeeds.
I remember on facepunch there was person group/friends things. Why are they gone again?
not enough moderation I believe.
I think people only do that to try to get someone banned, most of the time it succeeds.
Just wondering, what exactly is the stance on people spamming ratings? Greenen has been on my ass like a fly on shit forever and it's p annoying
Just wondering, what exactly is the stance on people spamming ratings? Greenen has been on my ass like a fly on shit forever and it's p annoying
I know other people who spam ratings on certain members' posts or all posts in a certain thread, but mods only seem to care if it's automated (e.g. via script). [editline].[/editline] Pathetic either way. Personally, I'd say spamming of any kind should be bannable.

ffs it's just ratings. You have the power to disable them. [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Don't be babies
it's annoying because he gets people to bandwagon since people respect him for "lmao king" or some stupid shit
who fucking cares. Seriously, it's a tiny set of pixels underneath your post. Stop taking ratings on an internet forum seriously.
