Yes
Was Overv a mod at some point?
yeh, he demoeded himself I think
iirc he had a rant "Facepunch doesnt deserve me"
Was Overv a mod at some point?
He banned someone for a completely normal reason, but then every got pissed at him, people who had no relation to it joined the bandwagon of insulting him, he then just stepped down.
a shame really.

fucking brainfart i was thinking of overv while googling for lasers, I just spent like 5 minutes wondering why google has completely unrelated results
turns out i searched for "overv" insted of "laser"
iirc the ban reason was legit but he perma'd them for it because they were a serial troll and everyone got up in arms about it because the actual offence was minor
The last one is definitely better than your prevous ones.
But here's my 2 cents, just a quick contrast and brightness edit: (Fuck Paint.net and its transparency)
I thought 500 errors were server side?
I think I was the people apart of that getting angry at him for a little offense. I regret it nowadays overv is a pretty chilled guy
why is there a tf2 forum but no cs:go forum
Do you really need a forum for cs:go?
no
not yet
maybe a general counter strike forum yes
tf2 has a huge community where people follow the updates and like the characters and stuff
cs doesnt
We need a general CS thread, rather than just a CS:GO thread.
A Counter Strike Forum would be great. If TF2 and DOTA 2 have one.
Well, seeing how CS:GO will be constantly update (possible with new content), I guess maybe CS Forum will be good.
I say we should give it a try.
It'll just turn into another subforum that only allows 3 or 4 threads to get posts... It's pointless, even more so than the TF2/DoTA forum.
Which is exactly why we need a general CS thread.
should have a generic forum for all games and just call it a day
oh wait
It'll be like the L4D subforum, it'll be deleted in 1 or 2 years because it gets boring and the only updates are bug fixes/map fixes

No, there isn't... Oh wait, yes there is! And it had This in it too.

Besides, everyone else clarified all the problems that would come with a CS forum. Not a bunch of content and it all fits in one place.
If I ran the forums and coding and design and whatnot wasn't an obstacle, I would make a special type of thread with, instead of having a white box with the title, author, ratings, posts, etc. in it, I would give the box a red highlight, much like a sticky. These threads would be for topics that are always popular to separate them from the other general BS threads. These threads would always hang out at the top of the list of threads, or maybe have their own area in every section

Of course, that would draw away attention from the other general BS threads in every section, but it would give less pressure to make a separate section for every new thing that pops up, and keeps generally important threads more accessible.
Just an idea (not that ideas like this ever amount to anything).

so basically stickies that rearrange themselves based on when the last one was posted in
Could a mod please look into mr.creeper?
He keeps making these repetitive shitty 'troll' threads in fast threads and it's becoming a nuisance now

But if they are popular, wouldn't they already be near the top?
But if they are popular, wouldn't they already be near the top?
It would keep them all organized and in once place so that the front page wouldn't be just a jumble of threads, popular and not
