For me the avatar only changes on my profile page. I've cleared the cache and it still doesn't show on posts for about a day and a half or so.

Also since I wasn't aware about no more 80x80 when I changed mine to a Top Gun avatar, my new goal is to have horrible 0% JPG quality avatars. My old avatar just isn't the same anymore, man. It's like ripping my heart out and it won't go back in. My life is ruined.
