It isn't auto by the way, its done manually. I had to ask a mod to close the a thread so we could make the next one.
Facepunch.com keeps redirecting me to http://facepunch.com/profile.php?do=dst

Judging by the URL, it might have something to do with Daylight Savings Time. I only got that once today, though.

Same over here. I've got it every time I've gone on facepunch today.

User CP > General Settings > Change DST from "automatic" to "always on"
then in the fall set it to "always off"
is there any way I can get rid of this without buying another one :v:
uhh... when i logged in today (auto-logged in as per usual), i was redirected to FP's "you have been logged in click here to continue blah blah" page, then immediately taken to http://facepunch.com/profile.php?do=dst which is completely blank.
what's that page for?
daylight savings probably
because it says DST in the url
and today is daylight savings

what happened to that one script that showed how many ratings a user's gotten? I've gotten so used to it and now that it doesn't work for me anymore I'm wondering if there was an update

I do apologize if this has been asked already but why did Garry remove the old promotion system? I just hit the mark today, really didn't want to have to pay for gold.
Dosh.
For some reason I still believe garry said that as a joke in order to fool people that were "on the edge waiting for gold" to ante up and buy it. But I can't recall an instance where garry has ever lied about something like that, so he's most likely telling the truth. As to why he did it, I suppose garry saw that a lot of people wanted the features that gold members got, so he used it as an opportunity to make facepunch relatively self-sufficient. Why pay money out of your own pocket to keep the forum running, when you can get the members that enjoy your forum to pay it for you?

You haven't hit the mark yet, as it says it's March 13th (using my timezone) on your profile, and yet it's still March 12th here. It went by the actual time you signed up, not the day.
Hopefully what Garry said was just a joke, don't have any extra money to spend so it wouldn't be worth it to pay for gold. I can understand his reasoning but since its 5 years a lot of people wouldn't be willing to wait that long so a lot of people should still pay for gold in that case.

Hello, I've just gotten back here and I've noticed that all the text has been downsized:
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31693224/anyreason..PNG[/t]
Could there be any reason why this is happening? It was fine 12 hours ago and this seems to only be happening on Firefox.
try ctrl + scroll up

Chances are you accidentally held down [ctrl] while scrolling your mousewheel, which zooms the page out. You can press [ctrl]+[0] to reset it back to 100% zoom (and use [ctrl]+[+], or [ctrl]+[-] to zoom manually)

I had that happening last week. Scrolling in made it look even weirder. I just try to live with it, adapted to it already so it doesn't bother me much.
Cheers guys, I have no idea when I might've accidently held down the ctrl key but it's all good now.

Ctrl+0 on the numpad will reset the zoom to the default.
This has probably been asked before but, what is an image macro, and why can you be banned for it?
Since we're asking questions about image macros, would an image macro that's just linked in a post rather than image tagged still count as an image macro?
Example: http://facepunch.com/threads/1160310?p=35113028&viewfull=1#post35113028

If you minimize your browser, is facepunch still a forum? Same thing with image macros. They are images with generic text used for the sole purpose of not having to type something out fully or express your point with words. The fact that it's linked to rather than immediately shown doesn't change that fact.
