If you exceed the avatar requirements, your avatar gets re-sampled and downsized to fit within them. Transparency will be lost, and so will animation.

Ignoring LMAO ratings would promote it from "entirely meaningless" to "mostly meaningless".
I suppose I'm partially bandwagonning here, I don't think I've looked in LMAO for about a year. I just remember that it was shit back then and assume that it's got worse.
perhaps just exclude funnies from fast threads? Only problem is that the more sub-forums you exclude the less value it has.
Just Fast Threads because they have a ton of threads based around rating games / bandwaging ratings / rating to vote for crap / also LMAO pics so about 80% of ratings don't mean anything in there

I don't currently see any rating games, unless you're thinking of rate the above users avatar (which is just a one out of ten scale), bandwaginng ratings happens in every section, rating to vote for things happens in every section, example:

Disable fast threads rating entirely, a lot of threads are based purely off ratings and its a shitty section regardless. Disable SH ratings only for the OP though.

Unfortunately I currently have no way to see if a post is an OP of a thread, but I'll look into it.
I removed all ratings in fast threads and they will no longer be collected.
