So I'm trying to find a good way to take a file I've extracted from a .DAT file and then edited and reinsert it into the file, replacing the old one. Where would be a good place to ask for help on this? I was thinking maybe the Programming section but I'm not entirely sure.

He didn't want to erase everything from the lifestyle forum, just save space by putting it into one section.

here's the thing about fast threads fast threads is like a corral full of uneducated, mentally retarded, children with sticks tied around their heads with something shiny at the end of it much like how a donkey follows a carrot at the end of a stick. They're loud and obnoxious and cause annoyance for the other corrals next to them but the people deal with it because they know if they got rid of the retard corral the retards would go and wander off into their lands and not leave. Of course, some retards would leave for greener pastures but they always somehow find their way back.

I'm not sure exactly what causes it - I'm using Firefox and never seem to have these issues, yet your point about the resource usage for FP tabs in chrome has been raised by other users in this thread about 3 or 4 times so I don't think it's an isolated incident any more.
