Would you be interested in a project that would make Facepunch seemingly [b]a lot[/b] faster? Some bulletins to describe how your experience would change: - Most pages (frontpage, popular, subforums, threads) would load considerably faster (up to 10x is not unreasonable, try loading Popular Threads and imagining it would load in 0.1s instead) - The content would still origin from facepunch.com, it's not a new site with new members and new posts - The layout would probably look different, but without sacrificing features like ratings - New posts may show up a little later than on the normal site (max 30 seconds) How different would the layout look? Think of it as the Facepunch apps versus browsing the original site. It's still clearly the Facepunch community with the typical red and blue, but it would look like a new forum. In other words, would you sacrifice having to get used to a different UI for getting much better speeds?

not me im not on here for a job or n-y-thing its not like i need some wicked speeds to reach my epic posting quota but i can imagine there being loads of people who could use that to free up some time to spend on more forum browsing or something
