Just a recommendation, if she isnt a big jewelery wearer, then dont get her any. Something else more personal would be best. But youve been with her a long time so im guessing youve got that down.
Dont spring too fancy with earings or necklaces, i recommend rings and bracelets since then she could wear it all the time. (Something I particularly love doing if my SO gets me anything.)
Stuff from local markets is nice too, since pieces are more unique there :)

Welcome to the human race. I've always found that people who self-depreciate whilst obviously expecting you to praise them usually have some self-esteem issues (only in my experience though). Probably the best way round it is, if they are actually okay people, indulge them a little but don't overdo it. Eventually they'll see you're beginning to realise what they're doing and stop doing it as much.
Don't take that as gospel though, like I said, only in my experience.

Ok, so I'm talking to one of my friends at work, then his sis comes in and talks to him. When she leaves, I tell him that I'd totally tap his sis. Not in like a serious way. I mean I would, but I was just giving him shit. Then at school she comes up to me and tells me he told her what I was talking about. At first I didn't understand what she meant, so I was just like, ok? Then she asked me for my phone #, so I gave it to her. Then she was just talking with me for the lunch period, and periodically brought it back up until at some point I realized what she was talking about. Her brother told her that I said I wanted to have sex with her. So her brother tells her that, then she asks me for my number? She wants the D I guess, I dunno.

Mini emergency here. One of my friends, female, is drunk txting me right now. We have been talking for awhile and she broke up with her 3 year bf not too long ago. I was there for her helping her move on and stuff. Lately we've gotten closer, not emotion wise, but sexual.
She is now drunk texting me asking me to come to the party and fuck her, and she loves me, etc etc. I told her to sleep it off, and to go lay down and to be careful. I also txted her friend to make sure she's ok.
Is there anything I'm supposed to make of this? I mean people just say shit when they're drunk but i dont know.
I guess my concern is that i want this "thing" or whatever we have to be lowkey. Knowing highschool it'll create major drama and im just afraid she said things at the party.
If there are not any consequences to it or major drawbacks, just do it. Unless your attitude towards casual sex is negative. Also I noticed that people really show what they want when they are drunk.
Just got home from swing dancing and a dessert date with the girlfriend and some other couples. It was super fun, and i felt like sharing it.
