Alright, I got a date with "her". It's at Chipotle, and I have 2 questions: 1. Should I pay for her meal, or would she find it creepy? 2. How should I find a topic to talk about with her?

How should I find a topic to talk about with her?
1. It really depends on the girl, to be honest I never really went for some food as a first date. Beside of a snack or something. My ex-girlfriend does not want that I pay for the meal, so does my current girlfriend. 2. Well, that comes pretty much naturally. Start with something that you both are familiar with, for instance like school, talk about classes or tattle about professors. After a while I always went with the flow later on and I never felt like I was forced to say something.
I'm going to confront my ex (it's hard to call her that) tomorrow and talk to her about why she broke up with me. I'm honestly worried about her right now, because she's going through a lot and I really want to be there for her like I've always been. I've talked to a lot of our mutual friends (some of them are her closest friends) and none of them knew about this until it happened and we all agree that it's completely unlike her to do this. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] Wish me luck, I have a lot invested into this.
chipotle sounds like a place where you get irritated bowel syndrome
It's tradition at my school district to eat there, as the food is legit as one of those extremely fancy restaurants and they serve it really fast. I've eaten there many times and never got diarrhea (Assuming that's what you meant by irritated bowl syndrome, still made me laugh though.)
0. why did you put "her" in quotes??? 1. it depends on a lot of stuff, but generally it's polite to at least offer. 2. uh ask what their interests are???
I typed "her" like that since I didn't wanna post her name to the Internet. And thanks for the advice too, helps me a ton. :v:
1. It really depends on the girl, to be honest I never really went for some food as a first date. Well I'm single now. What a goofball.
irritated bowel syndrome is much much worse let me ask you... have you ever shat out tabasco sauce?
Oh man, I just searched it and it's a real thing. Hope you're better now! :(
IBS sucks stop making jokes about it please
I wondered something about the facepunch community. Usually facepunchers are portrayeed as virgins and socially inept. Well, I think it is kind of a superficial statement and does not apply. But I often read, especially here that people discuss sexual practices and other thematics like relationship, one night stands or a similiar subject. My theory is that facepunch was created many years ago and that the majority of the members originate from the early beginning. These basemembers where quite young and well grew up after all this years. So they are confronted with such topics, so this statement should not really apply anymore. Seeing as a lot of the members are more mature and such. The new members that joined a lot later are only a minority or perma'd users from the beginning. Although this could be entirely wrong, but I was always interested in that particular topic. FP as a community of virigins and unsocial retards. What do you guys think :v: I might look to deep into this.
I don't think that's too far off. Hell i was about 20 when i signed up, 26 now, with a string of failed relationships and sexual escapades thanks to those under my belt... But, 2 years of no lady means i can also comment on how to try and get a lady...unsuccessfully. I've been caught up a few times in trying to be the nice guy after a break-up, and it's just ended up being a complete pain in the ass. But, good on you for being a decent guy despite not being with your ex.
IBS isnt real its just what doctors call anyone with a bowel problem they cant diagnose IBD is where its at
whatever you want to call it i have it so please don't mock it
Fucking girls can be so ungrateful sometimes. I made her breakfast in bed and she's all like, "how the fuck did you get in my house?!" I can never win.

But, good on you for being a decent guy despite not being with your ex.
I had a nice long talk with my mom about this (my parents are awesome at relationship advice, they've had more experience in that field than I have after all) and I decided that I'm going to wait things out. I'm going to give her the space she wants (needs?) and not try to push her and have her potentially throw her guard up. She wants to still be friends after all this, and if it's really meant to be then we can start all over. I'm confident that she loves me just as much as I love her, and two people as close as we are tend to find their way back to each other. And this outlook is generally more healthy and positive for me than just hoping she'll give in to the dramatic bullshit I tend to create hahaha.
my ex and i were a bit like that even though i'm not usually shy in public when i'm with someone i know. then i realized it was because we didn't actually have anything to say to each other ever and just spent all our time in private doing things that didn't involve talking think it's anything like that? or are you both just anxious around people?
whatever you want to call it i have it so please don't mock it
My girlfriend has it too, gets really bad stomach cramps and her stomach swells up. Although egg is a trigger, its mainly caused by her anxiety and stress.
One of my closest friends who I've always had the hots for deep down inside (since freshman year of high school, 6-7 years ago) told me today that she was pregnant. Turns out my best guy friend and her have been getting it on for the past few weeks. My luck with women and friends continues to go down the shitter. :suicide:

Don't wait for something magic to happen because it won't, thats not how life works.

I don't think that you're unlucky, it's just your fault you didn't initiate anything.
Well I'm single now. What a goofball.
less grief, more deadlifting [sp]jk, that sucks[/sp]
whatever you want to call it i have it so please don't mock it
We can go on a romantic date to some public toilets fuck knows what my triggers are, only been diagnosed for 2 and a half weeks, should probably keep a log of my foods

My girlfriend has suddenly become suicidal and she is causing me a great deal of stress at the moment. Im hoping that tomorrow i dont wake up to a text from her mum, or a news article saying that a section of the trainline near her house has been shut down due to a teenage girl committing suicide. i dont know what to do at the moment, any help would be appreciated She just told me she tried to strangle herself

If you're in contact with her parents, speak to them, tell them you're concerned for her well being and that she's mentioned suicide or whatever. Her parents might not be over the moon about it, but if she's serious, you'll save her and if she's attention seeking, she wont pull that shit again hopefully. (Also, protip, you can't strangle yourself, it just isn't possible, without hanging yourself anyway. In the same way it's not possible to hold your breath till you die)
