Then next time you are doing something worth celebrating every month, wait until right after 12, 'cause there's a 1st in every month!

New years eve was mine and my girlfriend's 14 month anniversary, I didn't pick the best time to ask her out as there isn't a 31st every month. :/
Holy shit, it was my 14th month too. However our anniversary is on the 1st of every month. The 31st must be tricky haha.
Do you guys honestly do monthly "anniversary" stuff?
Sidenote: I typed anniversary so wrong that spellcheck thought I was trying to write anti-slavery.

We don't celebrate monthly anniversaries but it's not hard to do a bit of maths.

Only just gotten my new girlfriend, so I'll do the standard 1 month landmark to make her feel special and stuff but from then on it'll be a 6 month and a year. she can fuck off if she thinks I'm going to be buying her shit every month.
I think its nice to do something for the monthly anniversary. Something little like flowers or a card or something is always good.

What's up with your attitude?

We seldom do it, the yearly anniversary is nice to celebrate. With a nice cooked dinner or a trip somewhere, but usually we don't get to much excited about it.
Sometimes when I feel great and have some cash to spend, I get a nice present.
I don't get to see my girly much since I go to college like 2 hours away, I only get to see her a few times a month unless I'm on break. If our monthly anniversary happens on a day when I can see her I always try to do something romantic and special.

All to many past relationships have been fucked up for reasons beyond my understanding even though the utmost effort was put into them to ensure the woman was happy, I was even engaged at one point and she ended up cheating on me, don't mean to come off as a cock with relationships I can be very loving and will generally shower her with gifts whenever I can, but I am just not one for anniversaries (Unless they are quite big periods of time)

That's fairly understandable, I am sorry to hear such things. Hopefully this time it will work out. You're right, always trying to make efforts can result in big let-downs. I just found your use of words disrespectful :v:

Thanks buddy, ever since that I've never really made much effort but I do try when I can. But you're right the choice of words were a bit disrespectful and I do apologize!

Yeah but that doesn't mean you should tell your current girlfriend to fuck off since she's got nothing to do with your past.
Also, you shouldn't give her gifts too much because it can turn from kind act into forced/annoying one and it won't have the same impact.
Wops, didn't see the post above because I had this tab opened for an hour or so.

I'd go nuts if I ever had to do that every month.
Guys, I had an awful dream Seith came back and gave awful advice. I don't know why.
Anywho, my lady and I will be together for 2 years, how to celebrate and make it awesome... Last year we did dinner at the cheesecake factory and went to see the Grey because she has a thing for liam neeson (which was cool with me).
Just been to this thread for the first time. What on earth is this?

A comedy gold mine.
Guys who know nothing about relationships, giving advice to other guys who doesn't know anything either.
Have the Mrs coming over tonight, anyone recommend any meals to cook which are sure to dazzle as opposed to the standard chinese takeout? :v:
how much work are you willing to put into it? what kind of cuisine are you hoping to make? would you rather cook it yourself or have her join you in making it together?

I used to aspire to be a chef so I'm fairly confident in putting a lot of work into it, making all by myself may bore her if it's a long preparation, although if she assisted in the preparation etc it could be quite a fun evening.
if you want to get her involved, i'd say just keep it simple: chicken with a side of vegetables, caesar salad before hand
i always love and recommend this recipe for the vegetable side just because it's so easy and tastes so good http://allrecipes.com/recipe/italian-green-beans/
It's always more enjoyable if you both do it, at least in my experience. It's a lot worse if she has to wait the whole time doing nothing and you do all the work.

Excellent, I'll get her involved with that one easy, she's not very adept in the kitchen so I can show her how to correctly do stuff, which will be quite fun, thanks for the simple meal tip!
Uh, guys, there was some talk about squirting earlier.
Which kind of waterproof sheets make the least noise? I remember the one my ex had was quite noisy, which worked out as it was just her apartment, but in my apartment there's friends passing by the door, or saying goodbye to visitors, and I sometimes feel kinda dumb when people hear us.
This might get me a lot of dumbs, but has anyone here given any thoughts about recording? Not sharing and all that stuff, but recording for personal enjoyment.
Spaghetti's always a fun choice with some fancy bread on the side.
Goddamn, garlic bread!
Wouldn't it be easier to get a towel or some other absorbic fabric? I mean, you'd have to wash the waterproof sheets anyways, right?
It goes through the towels, bedsheet, top matress and main matress. The main matress cannot be cleaned, as it's built in the bedframe. :suicide:
