To be honest. I'm a bit of a homophobe, I want them to be treated like everyone else, but I just don't like seeing 2 men embracing or kissing ect. (I'm fine seeing lesbians do that, but that probably because I'm a bit of a perv)

I had to read this entire thread, the associated article, and everything to do with it, with an amazing amount of emotional detachment (no offense to the victims, I wish I could make it so it didn't happen). Otherwise I'd never have made it past page 5. The fact that this kind of thing can happen... I have no words to truly express my thoughts.

What is there to do about this? I don't use Twitter much but I do have an account, I can email people, I've already shared the story on a couple of other forums I frequent, what else can I do, please tell me. This has to be stopped.

You could send an email to your local news station or an email to CBS 60 minute news which is what they suggest on the original reddit post. Of course the more stations you can email, I guess the more chance there is of getting coverage.

I have emailed 60 Minutes, the local news stations (we only have two, sorry :/) and I tried to email The Daily Show but I couldn't find contact info for them. If there's anything else that can be done, please don't hesitate to ask. This needs to have national attention.
