Also NYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (5 times)
Honestly, they better give Hagrid something fucking awesome to do in the battle. I know Robbie Coltrane said he got to throw Death Eaters off a bridge, but I'm 100% sure they'll cut it, just like the rest of his fighting scenes in the previous films.
Vlodemort and the death dealers!!!!1111!! Enoby better watch out, Vampire Potter and Voldemrot are working togetehr! [editline]edit[/editline] Oh goodness, anyone who hasn't read that shitty My Immortal fanfic is going to think I've gone insane. Here's the watered down article on it on the shitty site that bought out Encyclopedia Dramatica.
Vlodmort, is that the russian version of Voldemort?

If I remember correctly, INCOMING HUGE SPOILER FROM THE BOOK [sp]Hagrid dies. McGonagol aswell and alot of teachers too, including pupils. Man I cried during the siege, seriously. The ending will be cool to see on the big screen, where they are adults and have families.[/sp] SERIOUSLY DON'T READ THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO FUCK YOUR EXPERIENCE UP.
I really don't remember [sp]Hagrid and McGonagall dying[/sp]
I really don't remember [sp]Hagrid and McGonagall dying[/sp]
[sp]It was some major teacher dying, dunno really. I know Lupin dies and Snape, those I'm certain about.[/sp]
Must... Not... Click... Spoilers....
You better fucking not, I swear to god if you do you are a disgrace to the entirety of your local community, region and country.
I'm honestly surprised how awesome that trailer looked. Finally they possibly use spells to their full potential. Like that huge fucking wizard battle. Also NYAAAAAAaaaaaa!
I really don't remember [sp]Hagrid and McGonagall dying[/sp]
Nonsense. They live. He was forced to carry Harry's "lifeless" body to the castle and Mcgonagall was mentioned in the epilogue.
It's not a dream sequence.
Added scene. Not sure why though. [sp]Voldemort apparently turns into smoke and Harry hangs on[/sp]
Looks amazing, can't wait.
I'm honestly surprised how awesome that trailer looked. Finally they possibly use spells to their full potential. Like that huge fucking wizard battle. Also NYAAAAAAaaaaaa!
Probably because they used proper music this time instead of generic stock trailer music.
Remember when it was all "HEY LOOK IT'S ALL MAGICAL AND FUN!!!"
I love how the movies are so much more over-dramatic than the books, it's hilarious and to be honest, makes it so much more interesting to watch.

Apparently, based on the footage we've seen of Harry and Voldy evidently duking it out and talking, during moments which were CERTAINLY not in the book, Yates is trying to placate audiences by giving the hero and the villain an actual final battle with each other. The way I hear it, and the way the trailer indicates, it will all culminate into, and end, via the same means that it ended in the book. It sounds totally fucking sweet, and seeing the two characters this close together is always interesting, but I can't help seeing the footage here and going, "Um...no". Because even though [sp]Harry is essentially invincible at around this time (since Harry is "bound to life" while Voldemort lives, maybe that angle is being played up?)[/sp] Voldemort would still likely tear Harry apart in a straight fight, ultra-powerful magic and incredibly fast reflexes deeming that Harry couldn't just BLOCK a curse sent his way like we see him do in the trailer. Although it COULD also be [sp]the Elder Wand's unwillingness to do Harry harm, given he is the true master of it, so Harry actually has a fighting chance in a straight battle.[/sp] And if it IS all that making this battle possible, then Goddamn David Yates, you sir, are fucking awesome :D
I am hyped for that Hogwarts battle scene
It's not a dream sequence.
Maybe it is! They jumped as some sort of kick to wake up!
I hate it when they add stuff that isnt in the books
I hate it when they add stuff that isnt in the books
I don't. Sure, I don't like it when they dramatically change something in the story. If they would have changed something like [sp]Dobby not dieing[/sp] then it would be lame. However, changing the final battle between Harry and Voldy is a good change. The fight in the book felt anti climatic. The part on the bridge, or where ever it is, isn't in the book. However it looks dramatic and awesome. I for one a change from the book when it comes to certain things.
I hope that the battle scene is actually substantial and not like a quick cut 10 minute scene. It might be too much to ask for a thirty minute The Two Towers like siege but one can dream.

I'm more than sure they're going to give it their all for an epic finale.
Anything can happen in a 2 hour long movie
Harry kills Voldemort! Looks like a sweet end to an amazing saga! looking forward to it.
