Holy shit [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] What are the democrats doing to save all that money? They don't start wars?
They don't pour huge amounts of our money into two pointless wars.
They don't pour huge amounts of our money into two pointless wars.
They're not pointless, we need to get revenge for the 3,000 people killed on 9/11.
They're not pointless, we need to get revenge for the 3,000 people killed on 9/11.
Name ONE negative effect of the US not having invaded afghanistan
Name ONE negative effect of the US not having invaded afghanistan
It's sarcasm
If Donald Trump becomes president, we will see Idiocracy turning into a live action role play.
If the end of the world is an era, yes.
Era of horrifyingly dumb shit.
They're not pointless, we need to get revenge for the 3,000 people killed on 9/11.
We gotta' get Bin Laden, he's most likely in Bagdad somewhere.
Obama's doing a bang-up job at campaigning this year. He's gotten so good at it that he doesn't have to do anything anymore, he just lets Donald Trump make an ass of himself and Palin say something stupid on primetime

Of course, now that the average US IQ is in the double digits, people such as Trump and Palin are almost guaranteed to win.
Ah so this was what the Mayans were predicting, Donald Trump getting elected, The Fall of the Intellectual Americans and the American Empire.
He won't win. He'll barley get the nominee!
I disagree with most Republican social policies. Their horrible stances on abortion and gay rights leave a lot to be desired. But they actually know how to manage an economy (unlike liberals) and they don't want to ban guns.
Be glad they let you have your gun. That way you can commit suicide once you realise there is no more government to protect you against the corporations, because the corporations have become the government.
Tyrannosaur is Donald Trump!
I think he'd make an okay president.
I miss OP. His arguments were flawed and hilarious. Easily the most successful troll on the forum. No one is that dumb and serious.
In case you haven't noticed, when people in foreign countries (including those in developed nations) need a major surgery, they fly to the United States to get it done. Since our healthcare is the best.
Actually people around the world fly to Scandinavia (and especially Finland) to get the best medical treatment they can get, because our healthcare is the best. And that´s a fact. And guess what? For the people who live in Scandinavia its completely FREE.
I'm an American, and it's really sad. People think we are the best and all this, but really, we are frankly lagging behind other countries economies, education, and healthcare. We are still pretty much in this shithole that a generation of Republicans have dug us into, but what is really sad is that everyone thinks Obama is worse than George Bush and such, saying that he has dug us even further into debt, even though I'm not sure if that is true or not.
I'd rather have a less asshole-ish guy as my President, thanks.
That doesn't make sense, nobody mentioned that. The Democrats drove them away with their anti-business policies. Just like what happened to Europe. It became too liberal, which created an unfriendly market for corporations, and all of the businesses left.
This was a while ago now but this has to be the funniest argument I hear from the American right wing. Apparently Europe is a barren, lifeless, god-forsaken Socialist wasteland and everybody lives under the oppressive rule of Muslims and warlike Buddhists.

This is a pretty interesting article about a wealthy American writer who moved to the Netherlands, and his experiences with the European way of life. The article is about the Netherlands, but it could easily apply to other countries as well. Most northwestern European countries are pretty much interchangible. He lists some of the benefits and downsides of our way of life. It's a good way to broaden your perspective, instead of parroting after politicians with a hidden agenda.
A few decades ago, this would have been enough to win. Of course, now that the average US IQ is in the double digits, people such as Trump and Palin are almost guaranteed to win.
FYI IQ is relative and therefore the average is always 100 unless you directly compare the US to a bunch of other nations. I'm more amazed that the Republican party has degenerated into exactly what people have been stereotyping it as. It tells a lot about a party accused of only being out for corporate interests when one of their presidential candidates is a corporate CEO.
He'll probably win too. A lot of people hate Obama for his socialist policies, and are opposed to socialist healthcare.
oh my god. Obama is not a socialist. His policies are hardly socialist. This country, even before Obama when you had people like Ronald Reagan in office, is borderline socialist. Shut the fuck up. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] Do you even know what socialism is? France has socialist policies. Canada has socialist policies. Do they look like a Soviet-Esque dictatorship? No, they don't.
Socialist Commie Pinko bastards!
I usually take that as a compliment :3:
They increase ARE taxes!
The funny thing is that America's time of greatest prosperity was when the taxes for the wealthy were highest. During the Eisenhower years, the tax rates were 91%. The economy only started going downhill after Nixon's tax cuts (70%) and then more after Reagan (50%). At 35% (under Bush), the economy pretty much went to shit.
