The guy probably was just a stupid asshole with an authority complex, But after working in the service industry for a while you realize how much it sucks to clean up other disgusting peoples filth or deal with smart ass kids who think its ok to steal things without consequence. Sure the napkins are 'free' but taking that many is just taking advantage of it. Thats like going up to a free sample stand and eating all of the samples, they are trying to run a business, not a charity. That being said he sounded like he took it way too far and was being over dramatic about the situation, But you probably just caught this guy on a bad day, sometimes I wish I could just go off on some stupid teenagers in my department making messes or stealing shit.
