I'll do that. Sorry to keep derailing the (extremely short but existant) thread but what are the risks of insomnia? Last question about it, I swear.
stunted growth
Constant insomnia can lead to all sorts of health problems, flat out NO sleep is VERY dangerous. Ten days without sleep generally = Death First there's tiredness Then hallucinations Delirium Etc... It's really a nasty spiral. If it's intermittent insomnia, it can lead to more stress, depression, anxiety, all sorts of nasty stuff. So, long-term insomnia is life threatening (but rare). You still need to get it checked out regardless of whether it's intermittent or constant, because you'll start feeling the negative effects soon.
Someone should try this out....FOR SCIENCE :eng101:
I've done it. It takes a week or so to get used to, and once you do it's cool...in theory. Sure, it's great for being able to time porn sessions for when your roommates are asleep, but have you ever been awake in an apartment all night alone in the silence? It's not fun. And having to sleep every 20 minutes or whatever the fuck the interval is destroys your social life. It's made for people that have so much work they literally don't know how to cope with only 20 hours in a work day. Plus if you miss a cycle you're fucked and it takes two days to get back to normal, and you miss basically everything that happens in those two days. It's not worth it to most people, and I don't recommend it.
