The 90's were awesome. Examples: Gish and Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins.
i was in 4rth grade, I had like 15 friends on one block, We could play outside because no one is gonna fuck with kids that are possibly related to gang members. midnight summer tag is one thing I wish I could do again.
Nirvana
Half life was released. Boy bands were better but still sucked. Girls said like every 2 words. Freaking mario was good. Zelda too. Now it is all the same shit.
The REAL pokemon shit. born 1992, Canada here.
Taking like 20 AOL CD's from walmart and throwing them at windows.
You had to go to walmart to get them? They sent them to my house... Also, the 90s were great. They still had the old cartoons on television from like 1940s+ the old looney toons and all sorts of stuff. Not as many remakes in the movies as there are today. VHS... Waking up on saturday mornings to actually find cartoons on the television. The original Nick... Salute your shorts, Snick, Ahhh! Real Monsters, Rugrats, Original cast of All That!, Kablam!, Pete and Pete, all the game shows, Legends of the hidden temple, Guts, Double Dare, SLIME, Wild N Crazy Kids. A lot of other shows existed as well. Seinfeld, Friends (You watched it don't lie), Dinosaurs. Basically think of the stupid shows that are on fox now... but every random show they came out with was great. Now we are getting 4th and 5th ideas. Tupac. Music was great, whoever said it all sounds the same eh. The music died in the 21st century. This isn't 90s specific, but after the 90s we lost good music. Music with meaning, now all we get is dance music with beats for people to dance and Lady Gag. Nothing meaningful. But as stated before the 90s were a different experience for everyone. The most memorable part of the 90s is all personal. Technology was big, but not as it is today so you had a lot more fun going outside and enjoying life. Kids would wake up at 6:00 in the morning just to run outside and run around all day. Times are gone.
Early 1990s can be summed up with this picture,
Early 90's real men wore abercrombie, late 90's abercrombie was a common clothes store, now abercrombie is for fags.
1990's are like 2000's except with one hand.
1990: pure, innocent... when shit really mattered and was FRESH like TV shows, comics, news, music... nothing was old and everything had a bright future now: been there done that. also weird-ass shit called interwebs If only.... if only I had a time machine.....
The 90's were a glorious time: denim jackets and nintendo cartridges pogs and boomboxes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (none of that poseur shit) and good Saturday Night Live episodes Sublime and Nirvana (lolimaekjoek) ETC. ETC. ETC. IT WAS RAD OKAY? thread is tl;dr but anybody talking shit about the 90's certainly wasn't a kid back then
Awesome. That's what

That is incredibly accurate.
Nirvana
Agreed!
I was born in 1990. Russia was completely in the pits. Moreso than it is now. Moved stateside in 1996. Bunch of shit about everyone being into Spice Girls, Power Rangers, Pokemon and any combination of the above in elementary and middle school is about all I can remember. For me pretty much everything up to the end of high school is a complete blur now. And that was 2 years ago. I have the memory of a 90 year old man with Alzheimer's. I forget stuff while I'm doing it. Like the Demoman, "Thankfully I already don't remember this."
Aphex Twin Daft Punk Muse Doom Wolfenstein System Shock Star Wars Dark Forces I/II Flight simulators DirectX Linux OS X Macromedia Shockwave [flash] Shitty Batman movies Good cartoons
OSX was 1999. Thought in the 90's it was only in the 90's for a short time so I think we should consider it 2000's
I miss the sound of dialup. Also the general lack of political correctness.
