I just saw The Ninth Gate, cool movie. I really liked the ending, even though I didn't fully understand it. Someone explain.
jacob's ladder is actually about [sp]remaining in purgatory, with angels trying to find some way to convince you something's off in what you're seeing and to realize/accept that you're actually dead. the stairs at the end are his "ladder" up to heaven.[/sp]
may or may not be entirely correct but that's the general idea, it's not hell.
Man, the soundtrack in The Ninth Gate fits perfectly to a movie about hell.

I hope they remake the movie with hell because but skip Doom 1/3 and go to right Doom2/4
Percy Jackson and the Olympians? I mean they use the Underworld but it's still a good portrayal of Hell in my opinion.
I like when movies make hell something else than the generic fire/lava world.

I need a book with hell in it. After reading a bit of the Divine Comedy I realized hell is a great place for a book.
Well, seeing as there are so few movies that include Hell (The location), what about movies with Satan? Constantine did a pretty good job there again, with Peter Stormare and all. Are the media too afraid to use subjects like these or what?
