Some form of a multi-knife yeah.
Multi-knives? Pshhh..... And yeah Garb, I've heard it's a pretty great EDC knife for its size
I've one of these: A Victorinox Handyman, barely use it but it's pretty handy to have.
I think I got the same one. I used it almost every day when I was working on my quadcopter. It's sick how useful it is.

I'm kind of tired of Denmarks stupid weapon laws. Every knife that can unfold its blade when only using one hand is illegal. Any knife that features knuckles or spikes and can be used for "punching" is also illegal. Having knives or any bladed weapon that is not a kitchen knife or woodcutting instrument with a blade over 7cm/2,5" is also illega unless you have a weapon permit from the police. Yes, I have a harder time acquiring KNIVES than some people in USA have getting a handgun. /Rant At least I have that weapon permit, and I brought a pair of Ulaks (From Chronicles of Riddick), an authentic replica of a danish viking axe used for battle and a very cheap Chinese pseudo Ka-Bar knock off, all just for having on display. I also recently bought a Bear Grylls (I know, don't hate me) signature small folding Gerber for my small fishing box even though it was overpriced, it just fit so well.. I'm still looking for a proper reason to buy a proper knife, and i don't even know what knife it would be.
That's bummin about the laws man. But If you do wanna buy a knife, just think about what you will use it for, if you live in a woodsy area you could do a bunch of wood processing and such. I used to live with my parents in a small town close to a larger town with a forest in between. Now I have moved to a small apartment in the centre of a much bigger city, so I really don't have a reason for having a "forest" knife. I go fishing occasionally, but that's about it. I feel like taking up hunting, but I don't have the time or the money it requires.
Knives have plenty of other nice purposes, besides it's always good to have a knife.
When on the range, a brass fails to eject, use knife to pop it out.

Okay, I have been looking a bit for multi-tools on Amazon, because I moved almost a year ago and I still don't own any proper tools, not even a multi-tool, so I guess that at least that would get me started. The only problem is that there are so many brands and models to choose from. As far as pocket knives go, I have been considering these: Victorinox Army Knife Outrider http://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorinox-09023-Army-Knife-Outrider/dp/B0001P158K/ref=sr_1_67?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1337842656&sr=1-67 Victorinox Army Knife Huntsman - Camouflage http://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorinox-1371313-Army-Knife-Huntsman/dp/B0001P152G/ref=sr_1_187?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1337842924&sr=1-187 Victorinox Swiss Army Swisschamp Knife Black http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0024FA900/ref=s9_simh_se_p200_d2_g200_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=auto-no-results-center-1&pf_rd_r=586D07CD198242E4AAE2&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_p=240112507&pf_rd_i=M48%20Ranger%20Hawk%20Axe Wenger Evogrip Swiss Army Knife http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wenger-Evogrip-S557-Swiss-Knife/dp/B000RZDGOA/ref=sr_1_230?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1337843211&sr=1-230 I have also been thinking about a Leatherman instead. The Wingman is pretty cheap, but I kind of want something more, so I have also been considering more expensive models like the Wave and the Super Tool 300. Right now I think the one that is cheapest for what I get is the Leatherman Super Tool 300 on Amazon, it goes for 64 pounds as it's on sale right now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Leatherman-Super-Tool-300-Multi-Tool/dp/B002JM1NCQ/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1338929685&sr=8-10
I want to buy a balisong badly, what's a nice site to buy them at in the US?
was that really two weeks ago feels like 3 days lol I bought one and it's amazing, but the clip was loose and a screw came out in a day so they're sending me a replacement
Finally got the Spyderco Bug! It's so tiny and cute daww
My mext knife is obviously a BK2. What other knife would anyone need?
I used to have a huge collection including a benchmade 42 but a lot of it had to go. Those are the knives I own work mentioning, the Mantis is my EDC knife right now. I used to carry a Kershaw Storm II but I misplaced it somewhere and have yet to find it which sucks because it was my EDC for 5 years. There is a picture of it a month after I got it, if I can't find mine I am gonna buy another. I used the hell out of it and never maintained it and it held up, still locked tight and opened fast with no play whatsoever.
Went camping many weeks ago, woke up in my sleeping bag to a pile of worms beside me. Haven't gone camping ever since.
Does anybody have any experience with microtech knives?
Went camping many weeks ago, woke up in my sleeping bag to a pile of worms beside me. Haven't gone camping ever since.
What? If you weren't alone, they were planted by some prankster. [editline]19th June 2012[/editline] Oh yeah, I'm going to boy scout summer camp for three weeks straight. Last two are CIT.
I only own two knives at the moment. Pretty much introductory knives considering the steel quality and price points. It's good enough for me right now but hopefully i'll be collecting them through the years. They're both Cold Steel knives, the larger being an XL Voyager and the smaller a Recon 1. I've yet to buy a quality sharpening stone. Can someone reccomend one?
