[sp]electro decides to kill spiderman because he forgot his name, are you serious? even if he went nuts, couldn't they have thought of something else?[/sp]
I think [sp] All his life no one has noticed him or cared about him, so when Spiderman says he cares and he forgets his name he freaks out and attacks spiderman.
Probably has mental issues, so it's really not that much of a problem [/sp]

It's not that far from reality. It happens a lot.
People like Max often snap when a celebrity doesn't reciprocate the same love. The people clearly have mental instability and confidence issues. Put them in a position of power and they'd easily be dangerous. Power turns the bullied into bullies.
That's why there's so much really spiteful and awful cyberbulling going on. Very often cyberbullies are these lonely skinny nerd kids who have a shit time at school and then the internet gives them the power of anonymity. Add a few psychological issues, a traumatic accident and super powers and you have your Max.
Gee, I wonder what could have happened here:

Stepped on lego.
I really hope they are changing their Mary Jane casted actress. even though the role got cut from this film.
I just don't like her look at all, and she seems kinda annoying.
Shailene Woodley's a good actress and she worked really well in The Descendants. But seeing from some leaked shots of her on set, I found it hard to see her as MJ.
Still, I would have liked to see her take on the character.
That 'Paranoia Paranoia Something Something' song in the trailer is pretty decent. I really wanted to hear the full thing but apparently it's made specially for the soundtrack.
The soundtrack for this film is being made by one of the most unexpectedly brilliant Supergroup ideas:
Pharrell Williams, Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger, former Eurythmics member Dave Stewart, Hans Zimmer and a few more "surprises".
This soundtrack is going to be excellent.

Yeah, that cue at 1:30 with those lyrics is part of Zimmer's soundtrack. It uses a very distinct motif that they've used in previous soundtracks in the past. (Davy Jones' theme from pirates, some cues from Angels and Demons)
Someone ripped the music here, it was sped up to avoid copyright issues:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd0S4Gv4bZg

Jesus Christ what have they done to the green goblin

I guess it's better than a solid plastic mask... But I'm still waiting for that proper mask deal... Maybe one day.
I don't think harry will stay green goblin, I think it's just a pre-complete formula that will wear off, and Norman takes the finished version to survive.

I can even deal with the suit...
But can't they give him a hat?

Or at least make him GREEN?

What about a hood?
I totally dug that Alex Ross concept art.

And I remember reading in some Spider-Man encyclopedia that Norman fashioned his costume off of the wraith that he saw in his nightmares as a child.
That's a cool fucking idea; guy goes insane, dresses up as his own personal boogeyman and murders a bunch of people.

That design would totally be a possibility in some movie, not this one with the way the villains are going, but hey..
Also that glider looks a lot like the chitauri things from Avengers, odd.

Yes i know, its from like 2000, concept art for the first movie.
They never actually said it was Green Goblin.
You see a shot of Norman in the trailer who is so ill he looks monstrous and green.
I imagine Harry is either an original character, a sort of proto-goblin. Or Hob Goblin.
I can't see them putting Goblin in a film, third place in marketing to Rhino and Electro.
The Oscorp story arc ends in film 3. That'll be your Goblin.

I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if Norman became a Goblin in 3, but if the marketing junk is anything to go by, Harry is the GREEN Goblin.
hobgoblin my ass
if they don't use this then it isn't the hobgoblin

feel like ive seen the whole film now with all these trailers
Marc Webb to direct Amazing Spider-Man 3; Sony to release a Spider-Man movie every year.
In a report in Variety on how Sony has been slower to develop franchises than other studios (not for lack of trying), the studio confirms that Marc Webb will indeed return to take the helm of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, completing his trilogy of Spider-Man films just as Sam Raimi did with the initial iteration of the franchise. While Webb is currently putting the finishing touches on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in anticipation of the film’s May release date, the studio has already been hard at work prepping Spider-Man 3 by hiring Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Jeff Pinkner to pen the screenplay last year. The plan is to begin production on The Amazing Spider-Man 3 this fall in anticipation of its May 2016 release date, and the studio has already dated The Amazing Spider-Man 4 for May 2018.
Additionally, Sony apparently has a game plan that involves releasing a new Spider-Man film every year, per studio co-chairman Amy Pascal. Unless the aforementioned Venom or The Sinister Six somehow move into production within the next few months, that plan will likely kick off with Spider-Man 3. Kurtzman is onboard to direct Venom while Drew Goddard is writing and directing The Sinister Six, so one of those two films will almost certainly hit theaters in 2017 to fill in the gap between Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man 4. Since Goddard is currently busy directing a Daredevil series for Netflix and Marvel, the safe bet is on Venom to be the first out of the gate.
