[sp]I hope they use Venom's classic design. It's too good to not use. Really, they just have to make sure they don't make him worse than in Spider-Man 3.[/sp]
[sp]I honestly didnt have much of a problem with Spider-Man 3's Venom design, just that spider-mans black suit didnt have the white spider, and for both that said white spider wasnt more pronounced and whiter. Also he kept peeling his face back and wasnt as big as he should've been. How he was used in the movie was atrocious though.[/sp] [editline]23rd March 2014[/editline] But yeah. [sp]Nothing can beat classic Venom's design.[/sp]
[sp]yeah the problem with spider man 3's venom definitely wasnt the design also why are we spoiler tagging this[/sp]

[sp]Nothing can beat classic Venom's design.[/sp]
Crap, I did an awful job of switching topics. [sp]I brought up the design because I mistook the shot of Electro's eyes for a potential look at Venom, which made me think about how awful it would be if they went with some brand spanking new design for him. I agree that Venom's Spider-Man 3 design was pretty decent besides the lack of the white spider and the excessive use of Topher Grace's face. When I said, "as long as they don't make him worse than in Spider-Man 3," I was also talking about how he was used.[/sp] That was a lot of explanation for something I should've clarified from the start. Whoops.
[sp]yeah the problem with spider man 3's venom definitely wasnt the design also why are we spoiler tagging this[/sp]
The guy that posted the trailer spoiler'd everything, so I followed his lead. Also just in case somebody doesn't want to know that a split second of footage apparently exists for [sp]Venom.[/sp] Also, 1:43 looked a lot like [sp]Super Electro from Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro.[/sp]
[sp]only venom related thing i saw was a black swirling ball in the oscorp hallway, possibly being the symbiote, but i didn't see anything else that was venom-related.[/sp]
Same here. [sp]If Venom is included, please have the white spider and bulk him up. They're clearly making this Ultimate Spiderman with the Amazing title, which I'm fine with. If Oscorp developed the Venom Symbiote ala Ultimate then that's great, make him behave like ultimate venom. Nom nom nom.[/sp]
Spoiler tagged just in case. [sp]I'm not too hyped for seeing Venom in these movies yet. I think that both Venom and Carnage are way too popular for their own good. Don't get me wrong, I love Eddie Brock Venom but his popularity due to his iconic look and concept is just too easy for studioheads to go "oh yeah, nerds like this guy right? we should force him in somehow" despite the possibility of the writers/director not being a fan of Venom or simply not being interested in the whole character in the first place. Sam Raimi did not like Venom, he wasn't a fan of that character at all and he didn't even like the era of comics Venom was born out of: the very late 80s/90s. When he was forced to put that character in S3, we all know how that turned out. Simply speaking, I don't want another shoe-horned in "Venom symbiote" and I'm not a fan of the idea of Harry being Venom nor Dane DeHaan portraying Venom. I hope they'll reign back from going "nerds like this i think so lets shove it in there" and actually attempt to give the director and writers more artistic freedom.[/sp]
i hope the trilogy ends with peter dying and miles morales taking up the reigns
i hope the trilogy ends with peter dying and miles morales taking up the reigns
Ben Reilly. [editline]24th March 2014[/editline] It'd be such a hilarious cop out.
Hope this is good.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/3UttBaw.jpg[/T]
He... he just looks off.
Over a gorillion hours in GIMP. [thumb]http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z424/BanthaFodder95/greendehaablincolored_zps7bb9d576.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z424/BanthaFodder95/greendehaablincoloredhood_zpsc84934b2.jpg[/thumb]
He... he just looks off.
It's a matter of how he looks like someone with a low budget trying to make a seriously scary costume for a goofy movie and not realizing what the original intent of the costume is. Like something you'd find at some cheap Halloween event.
I like the look of him.
I think he looks off because the goblin formula he took wasn't correct/complete (Norman probably takes the correct version). and IIRC the soundtrack list doesn't call him the green goblin, just the goblin.
I like the face/teeth/scars. Like, a lot. Especially the nose, it's very Green Goblin. But everything else (especially the spiky hair and fucking BLUETOOTH EARS) is just so bland. It's so annoying to see a costume in a superhero movie that's embarrassed that it's from a superhero movie. The Spider-Man suit is full of primary colors, the Rhino mech has a big dumb horn, Electro wears a jumpsuit with little lightning bolts on it, but nope, a Green Goblin that's actually green is just too silly.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/3UttBaw.jpg[/T]
It's a neat design, but not what I'd expect from a Spider-Man villain. But just watch as Harry turns out to be the real Green Goblin and Norman becomes Venom instead. :v:
I don't think it looks too bad. It's clearly not meant to be a finished Green Goblin formula. Bluetooth ears (stealing that one), look daft though.
Change the green to orange and you have a really cool live action Hobgoblin.
Not being a real Spider-Man fan I have always prefered Venom and saw him as Spider-Mans archnemesis instead of the Green Goblim. His design is just really badass and I love the parasitic nature of it. Hyped as fuck for the Amazing Spider-Man Venom even if it will be the next movie. Hyped for this one as well, has some great actors and lots of action going on. I love it.
Change the green to orange and you have a really cool live action Hobgoblin.
no hood, no goblin
no hood, no goblin
Unless its literally a hood that covers most of his head you'll probably never get it, so get ready for disappointment. [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] Also his hair actually outlines where his comic hat would be. Just noticed.
I'm more annoyed they once again gave him green suit instead of some bits of purple.
I really like the look of him.
I know it will never happen but it would be pretty cool to see this Spider Man costume on the big screen in one of the Spider Man movies: If they do ASM 3 about Kraven they could potentially show it.
isn't that the 1933 noir spider-man or something either way reminds me of the rocketeer (it's the jacket)
It's Peter Parker of Earth-TRN151. I'm pretty sure in that pic he had just killed DocOck by stabbing him with his own tentacle.
Noir Spider-Man is all black, too, BTW. And has a big ass gun.
Does Spider-Man has the "not allowed to kill" thing going as well?
