Does Spider-Man has the "not allowed to kill" thing going as well?
He does, but sometimes people die. Shit happens, if it's an alternate universe then whatever.
Does Spider-Man has the "not allowed to kill" thing going as well?
Kinda.
He usually doesnt, but hes killed some fuckers though.
in the comics, spiderman brutally murders every criminal he comes across. he's known for always using his trademark ar-15, as well as an assortment of combat and throwing knives. he also develops his own handheld flamethrower.
i thought this was all common knowledge

Its funny cause The Punisher actually debuted in a Spider-Man comic.
isn't that the 1933 noir spider-man or something
either way reminds me of the rocketeer (it's the jacket)
Nah it's Peter's End-Game costume which is referred too the Last Spider Man Costume or The Spider Man of the future. He wears it in the universe where he kills Kraven and goes on a killing spree on his former villains. He eventually dies by being gunned down by the Police. My favourite part about it though is whenever it get's reference by other people because you just know what's going to happen when he wears it.

I love shit like this.
Like, there was a recent Batman story where Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox end up in a WayneTech garbage disposal.
To escape, Bruce puts on a "scrapped strength suit".
[sp]It's a prototype Batman Beyond suit.[/sp]

Holy shit, I forgot about that one. I have the comics somewhere at home but I'm at university right now.
Another final trailer:

Yeah, that definitely looked like Venom in one of the cases.
capped

totes symbiote
also that line "we have plans for you peter parker" is read by chris cooper, who plays norman osborn... yeah he's definitely not dying for real in this film.

I'd die if we got a Superior Foes movie.

Don't believe it.
Green Lantern also had positive early buzz.

Just get a bunch of die-hard fans to watch a private early screening and let the 'positive' buzz fill in. It's simple, really.

online reviews/magazine reviews are the worst
and especially since ebert is gone, nobody has the ability to fill his place.
just listen to whatever your friends say, or what we say, and you'll be good.
From the tweets it seems[sp]Gwen dies and Harry is the only Goblin[/sp]
Or just wait until real critics comment on the movie
ASM1 also had positive early buzz

there's a snip in the end of a trailer that [sp]you can see gwen falling in a reflection of spider-man's mask[/sp], i was watching turn on sunday and mostly ignored the trailer and happened to catch that part and nearly shit myself for how excited i am to see it on the big screen
also my bet is [sp]norman fakes his death and returns as the green goblin for the sinister six, you know it's gonna happen, there's no way they would waste the goblin on harry and be done with it after that[/sp]

First two reviews:
The thing is, all the electricity Webb needs is right before him, in the continued perfect match of his leads. Andrew Garfield's killer timing is the least of his ideal Spidey qualities – he remains a rare combination of funny, sexy and awkwardly charming, nailing every part of Peter Parker's clear agenda to be the coolest superhero ever. He could hardly do better than Emma Stone as his dream soulmate – she's button-cute and smart enough to steal his heart. They light the film up with a sparkle and sadness it couldn't live without. 3 out of 5 stars

he Amazing Spider-Man 2 really is a Godsend for Sony. It establishes a huge world, full of interesting characters who can easily be brough back in any of the other scheduled films, while working effectively as a standalone too. Some will argue that it is the best Spider-Man adventure to date, and they may be right, although for me Spider-Man 2 still holds that’s honour. It’s a touch long, although this is understandable with everything they were trying to achieve and is ultiamtely something you have to come to expect in a modern blockbuster. When it is good though, it is exhilerating, thrilling and a joy to behold. 4 out of 5 stars

The sequel, hitting less than two years after the first (and respectively, two and four years before the already-scheduled third and fourth films, not to mention the "Sinister Six" and "Venom" spin-offs that are in the works) doesn't just double down on what didn't work in the first film, it manages to undo some of the good qualities of the original as well. The result is a film that kicks off the summer blockbuster season with a resounding thud.

Comic book movies in recent years have tended to be greeted with great regularity with the description 'darker' or variations thereof. This culminated with the excellent but 'darker' The Dark Knight , which bordered on pitch-black and outright depressing (I still love the film nonetheless). However, the latest incarnation of the Spiderman movie series, the Amazing Spiderman 2 has followed in the footsteps of The Avengers by lightening up and getting back to the roots of the comic, with puns and one-liners galore giving the film a much more entertaining vibe than the convoluted and take-themselves-too-seriously original trilogy. However, the comedy generally doesn't overshadow the story too much, and themes of loss, love, responsibility and isolation are more deftly dealt with, making this new Marvel superhero film a more rounded experience, which again paves the way for yet another franchise.

If The Amazing Spider-Man was a canny reintroduction to the beloved webslinger then Sony's quickfire sequel is its bid to do a Marvel Studios and lay the groundwork for a shared film universe. Plans are already afoot for instalments 3, 4 and Venom and Sinister Six spinoff movies, and that feels like a big a part of the problem here - Amazing Spider-Man 2 seems more like an exercise in calculated franchise architecture than its does a cohesive stand-alone blockbuster.

The sheer good-natured charm of the Spider-Man character and the delightful on-screen chemistry of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone combine to make superhero sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 an enjoyable – if rather unwieldy at times – adventure romp. Its predecessor topped $750 million at the box office world wide, and with an welcoming audience already primed to lap up some more web-slinging action this new addition to the re-booted franchise looks likely to be a healthy spring hit for Sony.

2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man has its passionate defenders, and accumulated an unassailable $750 million box-office haul, but it sure took its sweet time gluing the radial spokes of its web into place. Now, that effort pays off with its sequel, a more intricately woven skein of action, effects, character development and cheesy one-liners. The eponymous hero hits his super-heroic stride here, as does Andrew Garfield in the role, especially when Spider-Man's alter ego Peter Parker learns there's always some fine print in a contract with this many benefits. The plot gets itself tangled up in multiple villain strands, but in the main this installment is emotionally weightier and more satisfying than its predecessor. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will swing effortlessly through multiplexes worldwide with a long rollout through Europe and Asia before it opens Stateside on May 2.

Necessity is the mother of invention, which is why Marc Webb’s 2012 superhero do-over “The Amazing Spider-Man,” for all its polished proficiency and kicky star casting, felt so perfunctory: Rebooting the blockbuster Marvel franchise just five years after Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 3,” it couldn’t claim to be a film anyone needed. The swiftly delivered “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” finds no solution to that redundancy, but it acrobatically spins enough sound and fury to distract from the issue, while the tinderbox chemistry between leads Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone delights once more. Continuing Peter Parker’s investigation of his shady family history while serving up a brace of villains — one more familiar than the other — for him to contend with, this bloated but enjoyable outing will pull in enough crowds to justify Sony’s reluctance to relinquish this heavily built-up creative property.
