I would like to see the plot to Neogenic Nightmare from the Spiderman Animated Series of the 1990s come to the movies, maybe in the third film. By the amount of genetic technobabble that went on in the first one, I think it has a good build up in theme at least.

The theme to that show was awesome.

I just want them to be more true to the Venom symbiote. It deserves two or more movies on it's own.
Am I the only one concerned about the game being taken as canon?

Why?
I really hope rhino has a big part though simply because paul giamatti is the best actor ever
Well we've already got a spoil picture
Marc Webb tweeted also he said "#HappyBirthday"
and whos birthday was it the day before? Dane DeHaan's.

and locker 14 is the symbiote. But other news outlets are saying we won't see venom.
That doesn't mean we won't see the black suit though.
And again the director from Chronicle, Josh Trank, who worked with Dane Dehaan is suppose to be making the Venom spin off movie.
Which again makes me think they are going the way as into which Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) is going to become the venom of the series. Since they've worked together before, they can be more open about their opinions.
I like it.
Sad theres no eddie brock, but it ties in more directly with spider-mans personal life, i suppose.
I dunno. I don't really like that. Give me the real Venom or no Venom at all.

That's a lot of superhero movies.

Theres a few in the comics.
Like Scorpion.
The new Wolverine, Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic 4 aren't part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though. They're still bound to be good films, but they won't tie in to the Avengers movies.
[editline]banana[/editline]
Actually, it is possible that the Fantastic 4 one might, as it's a reboot and would come out just in time for the start of Phase 3. Have to wait and see on that one.
Spider-Man might, theres been talks between Sony and Marvel Studios.
[editline]13th April 2013[/editline]
Plus, Andrew Garfield was seen walking in public with a giant fucking stack of Avengers/Thanos comics.

And they originally wanted the Oscorp tower in Avengers in the background.
They may do a sort of Cameo, like showing the buildings in the background, but it's not part of the MCU. Spider-Man isn't going to pop into Avengers or something. Marvel has an outline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies up until Ant-Man, which is the start of Phase 3. Phase 2 consists of Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Avengers 2. If Spider-Man 2 fit into it, they would have listed it.

Or, you know, they're still discussing everything with Sony.
They're not psychics, they dont know if Sony will agree to anything or not.

I can't see Spider-Man being part of the Avengers, he might pop in to help them when shit's going down, but he keeps his civil identity secret while none of the Avengers do. It wouldn't really work.

I think they plan to keep at as a surprise. Spidey is undeniably involved after he was spotted with the comics. A week before that the Sony CEO was saying he was going to work a deal with Disney.

I honestly hope Fantastic 4 goes back to Marvel. F4 is nothing without lots of super hero crossovers and cameos.

Oh he probably won't be an Avenger, but I can see him being in the film.
There are other rumors that the fantastic four, storm, wolverine, and doctor strange will make an appearance / cameo in the movie.
I don't think f4 has had any casting news? Probably not storm. But wolverine and Spiderman cameo working together? Just to give us a taste for that pair in a future movie. Doctor strange is the most likely for them to give a tease of. I hope they do because doctor strange is one of my favorites.
I actually seen a picture off the discover tag on twitter showing a wolverine ad for the new movie on "the 405".it didn't only have the fox logo but it also had the marvel logo. Are they working something out for a shared universe?
I really hope they do a better FF this time
And I didn't know there was speculation on so many cameos and appearances. One of the things everyone loved about avengers was how they managed to put so many comic book characters in one movie and still keep it believable, I wonder how they're gonna do it this time
And is fox (or whoever has the rights for spiderman and FF) kinda doing a partnership thing with marvel for that stuff or are they even slightly considering selling the rights back?
Is that electro like any we've seen in the comics? From what I can recall there's one that kinda looks like that in that 3D cartoon thing they had, unless that was someone else (that one gets his powers from being electrocuted by these giant neon lights)
Looks a helluva lot better than this
[img]http://www.allaboutduncan.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/electro.jpg[/img]
I thought the Lizard design was pretty bad. It lacked the lab coat and snout that had made it so iconic.
But that Electro design is great.
Why does he have LEDs inside his hood?
Well, the yellow-green outfit was always too silly. This is the first time I see the movie design of Electro so I'm not sure if he was portrayed like this in comics at some point. I can't say I really like it. Oh, those LEDs are most likely to make him look like he's glowing. They'll probably be erased later.

The blue (glowing?) skin is a trademark of the Ultimate version.

And the MTV cartoon version.

Foxx also said the suit would be sleek and black, so its probably an amalgam of the current Ultimate design and the former Ultimate design.

If they ever decide to use any form of Green Goblin, I hope they use one closer to that of the Ultimate Goblin to keep the Cross-Species theme running.
The only version of the ultimate universe I know is the yellow one with the leather suit, is that the old one?
My guess for the movie is he wears his normal clothes for when he gets the powers and the first battles, then gets the black trademark one later for the final battle and stuff
Ultimate Goblin feels a little too similar to Hulk for them to use him in this series, imo.
