But really, how is it a pivotal event? Virtually EVERY non-main continuity has an alive Gwen Stacey. Every show, game, and film.
Thats dumb because you know, Alternate Universes exist to tell alternate stories and in some cases, you know, what happens if something didnt happen or happened differently. Also, the TV show she was in was actually planning on killing her if i remembered right, but it got cancelled. And she's only been in one game. And, you know they're trying to make this film series closer to the actual comics right? Thats one specific reason why he has Gwen as a GF first, and web shooters.
And, even if it is a pivotal event, I can pretty much guarantee she won't die for the simple fact that it would be a bit forced to shoehorn it in to appease hardcore comic book fans.
...You dont know that. Like at all.
Mary Jane and Gwen can co-exist fine
This is a comic book movie. [editline]18th April 2013[/editline] Also, [sp]In the comics, Captain Stacy died. In the movie, Captain Stacy died[/sp]
Hey guys, in the comics, spiderman wears tights In the movie, he wears tights Confirmed, movies will be 100% like the comics
Comics, cartoons and past movies aside, the only point of killing off a character here is if it will further the development of another character or further the plot in a way that only killing off a character can. If they kill off [sp]Gwen and nothing changes, if Peter is exactly the same and in the end, it was solely because it was in the comics then it will have been a mistake. But on the other hand, if they can make her death serve a large enough purpose that becomes a foundation for things in the future, then it'll be fine. So long to short, if they choose to kill her off,[/sp] they have to make it count. That's all.
Alright, so Spidey can organically produce web but he can't 'shoot' it or change its shape or whatever and when the web does come out, it's slow.
but how does he produce it? does he just shit it out, like literally? i smell a dick joke
Actually, researchers said that the most likely place for the web shooter to be is not from his bum but from his mouth. However from an evolutionary standpoint, web spinners from his wrists would make more sense since that's the only place where a person could spin web by using their hands and fingers so comic book pseudo scientists said that organic web shooters in his wrists isn't that far off. Besides it's a comic book movie anyway, I think we can buy a man called Spider Man can make web.
Actually, researchers said that the most likely place for the web shooter to be is not from his bum but from his mouth.
i was thinking it could be something like that too
spider man is a man with spider powers
Source?
Hope this one will be just as ridiculously mediocre as the first one.
Hope this one will be just as ridiculously mediocre as the first one.
Id never hope for a movie to be bad
So if neither Carnage or Mysterio shows up in this one. There will have been made 5 Spider-Man movies without the coolest villains. I personally would rather see them both instead of say Lizard or Sandman. I haven't really done much research in Spider-man lore or whatnot, but Carnage always felt like the "Joker" of Spider-man.
Eh, I want a Venom done right before any sort of talk of Carnage.
I never really liked Venom, sure as a kid I found it cool to have bad Spider-man but that's all there is to him (I'm sure some comics went deeper but he's mostly portrayed as such). Dock Ock, Mysterio, Vulture, Green Goblin and Shocker were my favorites. Also Carnage for how fucked up he was.
Every superhero needs two main villains - one that's like his evil double. And of course, a generally crazy person Spider-Man - Venom and Green Goblin Superman - Bizarro and Lex Luthor Iron Man - Iron Monger and Mandarin Hulk - Abomination and Leader Captain America - Winter Soldier and Red Skull etc
Ladies and gents, Jamie Foxx as Samuel L Jackson in Jurrasic Park as Max Dillon
I'm not sure if the original venom had much depth but he definitely acquired it with time. There's just so many conflicts you can explore with his character: -Eddie's and the symbiote's hatred for spider man -Their similarities and differences (the symbiote being too violent and stuff like that) -Being an all-out villain vs hating spiderman but still caring about civilians -Having to team up with spidey -Rising to anti-hero status -The link between spidey, venom and carnage, and venom's "responsibility" for carnage Etc etc
I think Jamie can't really pull of a nerd.
wow when did u see the movie, i wanna watch it now too
Jesus, I don't mean it in a bad way, he's just too much of a cool guy. He's a great actor, too, but his good looks are a disadvantage here.

Bizarro was never treated as one of Superman's main villains. Well, not originally anyway. He was a character that needed to be understood so you realise he wasn't an evil person after all. Just bizarre.

Carnage is only (slightly) like the joker in his personality, the whole psycho thing. But they're very different in the sense that the joker is more of a mad crime genius, as well as the main enemy of batman in most stories, while carnage is just a really powerful psycho, and is definitely not Spider-Man's arch nemesis
If you guys don't think Jamie Foxx could pull off a nerd role, go watch The Soloist. He wasn't a "cool guy" in that either, but he pulled off the" savant cello playing hobo" role quite well.

i think that's the most faithful adaptation of the suit yet

Venom is a twisted version of Spiderman, his moral code perverse. Goblin and Venom are two distinct personalities, but they both serve the same function the Joker does. The complete antithesis of the hero.
