Snow :O in southern cali we're lucky if we get a drop of rain.
Yeah, it's not smog. Or maybe it is, I don't know. All I know is that every other night in Baltimore is a weird orange or yellow, but tonight is really something. It's literally flooding my walls with orange light. [editline]argh[/editline] aaand holy fuck there was just lightning and thunder
That's called thundersnow. Enjoy it, it is very very rare.
That's called thundersnow. Enjoy it, it is very very rare.
That sounds amazing.
I've been in thundersnow before, it such a WTF moment.
So? Orange skies look awesome. Mostly likely something to do with where you are, or it could be an orange moon, with the light reflecting off the snow particles/clouds in the sky.
That's no moon... it's a spaceship!
Snow :O in southern cali we're lucky if we get a drop of rain.
hahaha what are you on, here in burbank it's been pouring rain like retarded
It's not smog or pollution. It's all of the city lights being reflected off the snow. Mostly from street lights.
Wow thats pretty cool man. We get that sometimes in Washington. Kinda looks like that one level in COD4 when that nuke goes off.
Happens here too, although this is one of the smaller cities in the US. Still the biggest in probably 3 states.
It's called light pollution

You're going to die.
I didn't see any orange sky last night. Did it start at 3, or was it on all night?
Light pollution pisses me off. I cringe when it snows and everything's orange. It's not "pretty." It's disgusting. Fucking inefficient street lamps. :argh: All those lights bouncing to the sky.. for what? To light up the bellies of airplanes? It's expensive to light up the sky like that, AND it does plenty harm for anyone who appreciated the sky.
Hey! I'm in MD too. Elkridge here, we have 37" now.
Congratulations, a nuclear bomb has detonated! I will see you at your funeral in a good few months time due to your radiation poisoning. Have a nice life :byewhore:
Incandescent street lamps. You should know better OP.
Dam I see the same thing here over Pittsburgh. I wish we'd get 36inces!
Reminds me of the planet Pittsburgh in Freelancer which looked like this.
How did you not notice the shockwave? :buddy: Our nuclear silencer seems to have worked better than we thought...
OP: I live 30 minutes away from you. :tinfoil: oops. spelling.
OP: I love 30 minutes away from you. :tinfoil:
You love him 30 minutes away?
I love when the sky does this
Its the end of the world :tinfoil:
Its the end of the world :tinfoil:
As we know it
If it's 2:40 why does your clock say 1:39? Fix your clock.
Just thought you guys should know. Could be a discussion of pollution/light pollution, and the fact that there are no skies but just an apocalyptic-esque orange haze with snow everywhere. Also, we're due to get something like 36 inches of snow and we had 10 inches a few hours ago. They've all been edited to approximate what it actually looks like over here, except for the last one which is edited a bit to look prettier, but still isn't that much more extreme than it actually looks here.
I thought Baltimore was in India.
Blow out soon, fellow stalker. I love it when the sky does this. It's just awesome to look at.
As we know it
And I feel fine.
