Tried Download #1 twice and got corrupt file both times.

Seems their servers are getting hit hard all the sudden, both downloads are sluggish or not finishing on me.
I hate being so paranoid. I tried downloading it, but it gave me a blue screen after setting up UE4 Prerequisites. Now I can't make myself to download it again :tinfoil:
Am I the only one who had this problem?
This was one of the best demos I've ever tried with my oculus rift (tried it a few months ago). It didn't control well but there was a good sense of presence. I think it was the lighting and texture work.
There are lots of games that don't really work, anyone knows how to fix it? Tetris doesn't work, neither some other arcade games as well.
this has been out for a while
still play it from time to time on my dk1
Probably one of the best rift demos
Why aren't those machines running attract mode?
Surely multiple instances of MAME can't be too much of a performance hit, right?
Why were the gameboy screens lit? Would have been better I think if the screen was unlit, but it had those lighting attachments so all you see is glare on the screen like the real thing :v:

You can turn it off in the settings

You can turn the gameboy lighting off in the launcher
Step 1. use joy2key on a usb snes controller to play it virtually as if the actual thing
Step 2. Buy a VR headset and combine it with the USB snes controller
Step 3. Live virtual reality.
the program won't even launch
R.I.P Facepunch Arcade.
I dunno if there's a better way, but you can rename and replace roms in NewRetroArcade\Content\Roms to play other games

-snip late-
does anybody can help me with the game not launching
For anyone having FPS issues I found that lowering effects to "medium" gave me 30 to 40 more frames (GPU Limited). It disables a majority of the fancy reflections but its worth it not to have the emulators be screwed up.
It's beautiful just to look at this. Imagine showing this 10 years ago.

What's the problem, do you get an error message?
They got the rights from Nintendo to use their games in this thing, right?
80s kid simulator.
Is anyone else having trouble downloading this? It "finishes", but the file is way less then 200MB and windows can't open the zip file.

Used "Download #1", which worked. The launcher failed to download 4 roms, but most games work fine.
Game of the fucking year 2015
[thumb]http://imgboo.com/i/yB.jpg[/thumb]
so are these actually the full games? I can't run this, i'd rather not have my computer turn into molten slag.
And yeah, imagine showing someone this 10 or 15 years ago. They'd think you were showing them a fucking movie.

imagine showing this to a child in the 80's/90's, complete with a 120fps VR headset that runs 4k.
You then say "this is what the future is like"
they then instantly die
with all these new gadgets, toys, and amazing-looking games coming out that look fucking awesome, I feel like the 1980/90s prediction of the 2000s wasn't so inaccurate after all.
When people go "the future!" they only think the really fantastical stuff like flying cars, teleporters, perfect virtual reality.
We make these huge advancements that surpass our predictions but people don't really catch on because they're not the sci-fi ones.
anyone have a mirror? first link is giving corrupt files and second link is slow as all hell
Its a shame half the games run like arse on balanced emulation and about a third don't run at all on accurate emulation.
Shame we can't run some in one and the rest in the other.
