Check and check.
Just gave it a go. Crazy to feel the syncing between the real controllers buttons and the one in the game. Was buttery smooth at above 70 at all times with gtx980 (minus mame loads).
The dk2 rez seems perfect for this. My only wish is that the controller was a little further away at a more natural position from the first person camera. I love the fact it has a little single game emulator built in.
You also can't go into the bathroom and do copious amounts of cocaine.
Not true 80s experience.
This doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look special in any way like the title implies. It's just a smokey and darkly lit room, void of details.
why is every post I read of yours dumb?
i found what the problem no matter what server i tried to download its keeps corrupting
Its a shame half the games run like arse on balanced emulation and about a third don't run at all on accurate emulation.
Shame we can't run some in one and the rest in the other.
Sounds like a typical arcade to me
When people go "the future!" they only think the really fantastical stuff like flying cars, teleporters, perfect virtual reality.

Well software makes the hardware. Hardware can be incredible but function is what makes it innovative as well as how good said performance of the function is.
Anyone know what the button for exiting a game is?
**nvm, found out you just have to turn away from the game**
Anyone know what the button for exiting a game is?
Have to restart the program everytime i want to try something else.
Rotate away from screen with mouse, walk.
For the love of all that is holy they better update this one day where you can play the Star Wars Racer game on the Gameboy or the arcade version, or at leas the Original Trilogy arcade.
Both of the download links had the file come out as corrupt for me. I assume this is just a server problem for now?

Downloaded it about 5 mins ago, works for me. chrome did pick it up as a harmful file though so idk what some security programs might do to it.
I have to use a gamepad for this thing, trying to play any of the games with the default keyboard controls is a nightmare.
3D printing, hyperloop (concept stuff I know, but still one its creator wants to have built in his lifetime), laser weaponry onboard brand new US navy ships, and VR technology all feel very sci-fi to me. All this stuff makes me think like I'm gonna be alive in a sci-fi future.
What is a science fiction movie when the science becomes real and all the technology in the movie comes into existence?
think about it
God, I know what I'm using all of my gift cash for this Christmas. I really need a Rift/Vive.
If only GB games saved after quitting the game.

Put the phone on there and you get a tape for [sp]Europe - The Final Countdown[/sp] :v:
It's the 3D MAME frontend I've wanted Facepunch's Arcade to be like. Just wished the games would still run even though you're not playing them.
Do you have to get the ROMS seperately?
[editline]7th March 2015[/editline]
Don't worry, idiot alert.
Also, I think the greatest thing about this is that it shows the contrast between games did in the 80's/90's and what games do now
that realization is actually pretty cool. Absolutely nothing like this could have existed back then, and games required hardware that basically costs less than 25$ these days. We're simulating "High end 80's gaming" within a high end game.
I can't wait until the future happens and we can simulate a computer room that plays this game, which then plays roms
can someone please upload this somewhere else? even download 2 gives me a corrupt zip and i can't find alternative links ANYWHERE
please?
If the games don't save your progress, then bleh. How neat would it be to replace the ROMs with some of your own, then you have a sort of interactive library. And if you have an Oculus, you're immersed like no other game before
I think I'll stop playing some Zelda... WALK OVER HERE AND PLAY FUCKIN' ROBOCOP
finally managed to download it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19296530/Things/Other/NewRetroArcade-2.0.0.zip
alt download link for 2.0.0 (mirror 2 file)
I couldnt even find the download links on the page :v:
This is the best thing I've seen all day.
How many cassette tapes are there? There's so many of them and I feel like I haven't found them all yet. Is there a reason to even find them all? :v:
Using it with the oculus is pretty neat. I've never felt this much motion sickness, though.
Also controls were really weird. Couldn't really enjoy any of the games because of them.
Wow, it saved where I left off on the Chrono Trigger cart... Wasn't expecting that.

Yeah, an option that seems to refuse to toggle off for me saves progress like a save state on SNES games. No others.
