Now THERE's an experiment worthy of Josef Mengele, just waiting to happen. Putting an infant in a VR sim and feeding them a carefully constructed world, never letting the headset come off until they're older, at which point the real world is finally revealed to them.
Hell, it'd be like something H.R Giger would have painted.
all that is left is to harvest all of that infant's thermal and kinetic energy to power a planet wide computer infrastructure

Well you'd need a lot of them, that's for sure.
This record would be a lot more interesting if there were actual good VR games that has a whole world to explore
There's actually a really really well integrated version of minecraft for the Vive that I could totally see someone spending 25 hours in without running out of shit to do/explore
Windlands also has a ton of stuff to explore

SteamVR uses the chaperone system like that. You first calibrate it by setting the floor, then you can set the borders around you. Albiet they go straight up and don't leave room for details (a tv perhaps) but they're overlayed onto the gameplay footage so you don't run into walls. You can also enable a video feed of what's in front of you via the camera on the Vive, so when you get too close it alerts you to stuff like TVs and shelves.
If I had a vr headset I could beat this today
What a wimpy wr
Technically you'd have to beat it tomorrow. :vrreact:
Yeah Minecraft VR would definitely be the game to play
i played minecraft with an oculus rift dk2 for an hour once, after putting it off i was disoriented as fuck, i cant even begin to imagine what its like after 25 hours
I started feeling woozy in Minecraft VR after like 5 minutes so I'd be fucked with that one

probably from being disjointed from reality :v:
blind people are in vr their whole life

once somebody reverse engineers the human optic nerve api, things will get fun
Why didn't he do anything else but Tiltbrush?
