I love alterIW for this, wish they didn't merge GTNW though into team tactical, I sometimes only want to play GTNW, not capture the flag or some other gamemode.

AlterIW doesn't run VAC, it wont be detected at all. All that happens if your MP client is patched to run off their network.

No, this does not trigger vac at all. You do not connect to the official servers, thus no vac. It's like in source games, dedi without vac do not have to connect to valve servers.

alterIWnet is a completely different server. They're literally hosting an IWnet of their own. The mods are awesome, but there are almost no american players, which gets annoying cause you will usually find yourself in a game with at least 150 ping. Unless you're host of course.

Whats the advantage of using alterIWnet?

Yes you can play using steam mw2, but it will require a bit more IQ than just following a video As for cheaters, I haven't seen any yet.

Anyone got any idea why I can't access the AlterIWnet site? (I'm trying [url=http://alteriw.net/]this one[/url], is there another?) Firefox keeps timing out, I asked a friend who has the same ISP as me (Last I checked) and it didn't work for him either.
