We need a fedora tip
Am I on the right track or should I just stop and let someone else do it?

Mask color doesn't stand out enough. It looks like someone drinking a Sprite through a straw. Maybe try a light grey or darker tan.

I can't see the difference.
I can't see the difference.
Open in different tabs and click between them. The one on the left is darker on the bottom.
Left has no semi transparency and is sharpened.
It's a good thing that you or others couldn't see the difference tho.

not the emoticon you want
but the emoticon you need
I can tell the first one is sharper. I like it a little bit more because it's easier to tell where the edges are, and I prefer crisp pixel art when you're trying to make something that small. Unless if it's a miniature version of a real life thing like Hoff up there, but that's different from a normal smilie.
Looking at it in photoshop, the colors are kind of all over the place. Then again, that's just because I'm looking at it at 3200% zoom, and again, I like pixel art to be crisp. It looks fine at a normal level. Both do.
I think the main issue is with ones like the :v: one, where they just sort of fade into the background. It looks weird.
also its harder to make new ones that look right if they're antialiased like that
maybe that's just the ocd though
On second thought, the right one looks a bit better because the antialiasing fits
gah I can't choose
Also I've seen everyone just using the most random sizes, am I the only nerd following the OP?
Yeah, you basically are. Personally I don't think there's any need for consistent sizes in emotes, but I guess the poll will show what facepunch as a whole thinks.
We need our own personal
