To be honest since emotes have been gone for my entire run on Facepunch and I've never been much for emotes in general, I have no idea how I'll actually use these. Doesn't help that I have no idea what counts as acceptable use and what'll count as spamming or shitposting with them.
just dont go all instant messenger with them, rule of thumb is to avoid them most of the time.

I feel like I've stepped into a mirror universe or something. Now I'm just confused.
At this point everybody has proposed multiple imitations of the SA emotes, people should try to propose some completely original ones now.
Those square FP-styled ones were a little gaudy but they're on the right track for trying to be unique.
We need a :smith: remake too
Borders? SA did it.
Yellow skin? SA did it.
Circular? SA did it.
Displaying emotion? SA did it.
There's only so much you can do to separate them from SA's. I think FryingDutchman's were on the right track.
Sure, the :v[I][/I]: one is the same, but we kind of unabashedly use that for the funny rating, so it can't be avoided unless we change the funny rating.
I also kind of like these, even though I realize their size will make the lines separate more. However, it's their size that makes their style different, since even the radius being 1 pixel larger means it will be drastically different when doing pixel art at that level.
