I still think the facepunch character should simply be the Rust guy, completely nude. Imagine playing one of the TFYC-funded games and all of the sudden, a skinny, bald, and nude guy just runs up, says something, gives you a rock, and leaves.

Donating is primary; if we make enough we can put in a character which people are currently looking at designs for mostly for fun but also in case we do actually raise the $2k. It also has the benefit of keeping this thread active.

I honestly would rather none of these character be put in. They all seem way over done. Some are interesting, some are funny, but honestly, I'd actually feel a bit ashamed if any of them were put into a game to represent FP.

They didn't fit every /v/ meme they possibly could into it, they just made something normal with a few subtle touches, because making something normal was the point. Punchcat seems like the best design because it's simple enough to fit in, distinct from the others while having its own charm, and keeps those few FP references without going overboard. Who needs some big fancy overdesigned character when you can just have a Cheshire cat companion?

"That Cat" with a box and a collar with Red X's as accesories would be nice
