I tried too a couple days ago, though I think discussion might've evolved past a design like this: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/1uwJc0l.png[/IMG] Albino like someone said on page 1, self-satisfied smile, scrunched up eyes and boxing gloves like in the logo. I'm pretty sold on punch-tan though.

Shorter hair and removing the backpack would probably help. Maybe remove one of the disagree pins as well.

I'm kind of envisioning a military uniform type outfit. Maybe airforce, that way we can use FP's colors more easily. We can have the ratings as medals, and there's an excuse to stick a gasmask in there somewhere. Maybe a beret or wedge with FP's logo.

I like the pyro idea, and they just run around spouting conflicting opinions about things. Like hating conservatives but being for a more oppressive immigration policy. Or saying American's are racist and hating on Roma peoples.

I think a mad max looking character with the whole gasmask thing (if a bit silly) fits well with garry's mod/rust. In Jamie Hewlett's style like scorpio proposed. w/ some form of facepunch logo motif

That's like any other forum on the internet, there's no hivemind out there. We're just far more opinionated then most and ready to spout nonsense from the top of our lungs. There's gotta be something else. Or maybe nothing specific at all, something subtle.

as far as design and color scheme goes, most of the ones i'm seeing posted here are really good but they're still pretty generic

I think the best way is to just use the website colour scheme in the design rather than trying to force things like gasmasks and hiveminds in. If it needs a defining personality trait, it should be the false sense of superiority we have over other communities.

The color scheme being red and white was a.great idea, as was the diagonal skirt. I actually like that design a lot though. We still dont have anywhere near 2000 so lets brainstorm away. We should make some strawpolls and such to decide some important things too, like gender.
