i like the ratings they had color and uniqueness

Yeah, I don't really like it either. It's really inconsistent and sort of visually obnoxious. The ratings should be more of a subtle nod, like stickers on a backpack or small pathes, not gigantic buttons plastered all over the front, side and back. I also like the androgynous idea with a gasmask, sort of like Pyro. The anime waifu female thing is a weird trend.

Add to that the fact this is the internet, and we get anime waifus.

The box is nice though, I don't see why we can't have genderless character representing facepunch, everyone is welcome here.

This is just my view on this but I don't think we should try shove as much forum shit on the character as possible. Going back to my design I'd like to explain why I "designed" he/she like that: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/wGvuLqa.png[/IMG] First off, the head. I don't mind if the character is male or female, the editor I used didn't alllow the mask to rest on the top of the character's head so he/she wears it and that could be used for the unisex idea. If I could draw, I'd add some brown hair showing at the back of the mask/head. Most importantly the gasmask should remain on the design because it's something Facepunch was known for in the past. Next the body. The Drive jacket (with yellow THE CAT on the back instead of scorpion). This piece of attire shows exactly how we try to be cool and original but end up the opposite. If there needs to be FP logo somewhere I would put it at front in the area where medals usually are. Finally, the pants (and boots which would be probably ordinary). Just normal red jeans to follow the color scheme. Again I don't think we should stick as much shit as possible into the design. To finish my post I want to say that though I'd love see our character I truly donated for the cause.

Basically, Tovip's idea but with a different head. and no elementary school backpack probably a longer skirt, too I'm not saying she should be some Japanese schoolgirl with a sailor uniform and a miniskirt. It's an English forum based on games from an English dev, it should be English.
