Dont move to the US. - Government is fucked up. (You act as if it's better elsewhere. Some places have several parties, and without a majority in parialment/house you won't get shit done regardless. ) - Hope you like stupid laws ( But I like the law saying we can't hunt camels in the desert. ) - Political Correctness (Politics, politics. If this is what were gonna have to keep going on about, I'm going to start asking why you haven't moved out yourself) - We are Small Mexico & Somalia ( Alright? I like Culture) - You need to know Spanish. (I live on the Mexican border, 90 Miles to be exact, and I couldn't speak Spanish for a day in my damn life.) - Something of yours WILL BE STOLEN ( Reality is calling it's asking if you want your shit checked. ) - "Free" doesnt mean free; it means Tax's ( Last time I checked Sweeden has the world's highest taxes, and their fine with it. - about 10% of us are unemployed. ( And in some places the unemployment rate is worse. Give it time bud. ) - You are just another statistic. ( What...? )
If you do end up moving into America, I would recommend going toward the great lakes. Last I've heard their beggining to re-open wheat/steel mills up there, and you'll most likely be able to get a job. If not there, try the auto-motive industry.
Jocken. As a fellow Swedish,I am much interested in why you would like to move to America. Also. What makes America so great in comparison to Sweden? Have you ever been there, and if yes, where? I do not claim that Sweden is better than America. However neither do I claim that America is a bad country. VVVAlsoVVV
Try Egypt, i hear they have a stable Democratic Govt. with zero issues.
Made me lol.
I hear that you automatically get citizenship if you can eat 10 big macs within 5 minutes. So get practicing!
haha you're so funny NO
Kinda funny because I live in California and I wouldn't mind living in Sweden.
Come to California, we got some beautiful beaches, and if you don't mind intelligence, then our ladies are pretty great.
If I had to move to another (developed) country, the US would honestly be in the bottom half of my list. I lived there for a few months and it's definitely not a bad country...but there are so many that appeal to me more. What's the big draw?
Op I hope you realise that Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Ice land (all those cool cold nother countries) are the best countries in the work to live it? This year its Norway though but those countries enjoy the best living standards in the world. Englands cool for healthcare and some other stuff but the quality of life is so much better over where I mentioned,
Los Angeles, no, California is alright but there's too many wannabe gangsters over here like you'd think, with the baggiest pants, and a majority of the people here are idiots. Orange County is your best bet if you come to West Coast, its a lot cleaner and there are more white people. I'm being sincere here. nothings better than personal experience.
Move to Canada.
I really do hate the kids who think "oMG evry american faT LOLOl!! :)" and think they know everything about a country they dont even live in, Honestly i say if you WANT to move to America then DO it, its your life you should make the choice in my opinion.
Chicago
Chicago
I heard it was a nice state, I think I went there but was too young to really remember anything about it. Right now I'm chillin' in Florida the state of oranges and old people.
Wanna trade places?
Come to Canada. It's nice and cold here.
angry? quality of life is better in europe. it's rather odd that he would want to move from sweden to the US. its like moving from the US to Pakistan.
you ain got no in-n-out burgers [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] hell i'd buy a flight to california just to get my hands on one right now
I heard it was a nice state, I think I went there but was too young to really remember anything about it. Right now I'm chillin' in Florida the state of oranges and old people.
What are you talking about? Chicago is a city in Illinois.
This is funny, I live in USA, and would rather live in Sweden. Let's switch places!
You need to apply or something to get a greencard.
Come to California, it's so fucking hot here, but hey, at least we have Santa Cruz for summer fun. :sax: Oh and In-and-Out burger.
What are you talking about? Chicago is a city in Illinois.
gah, my bad i mix up words like state, county, city, country, etc.
If you're white we let you in easy. Otherwise you can sneak in, also easy.
That's very Ironic. England has too many car bombings and Muslims.
So that means 7/10th of USA fucks up if it's gonna blow up?
No that means the entire world fucks up if that explodes, when Mt. St. Helen's erupted there was ash on the ground at my cottage in northern Quebec, about 5000 km away
May I suggest choosing a less populated states. They may be less interesting but everything is a lot cheaper, and most of the time people are friendlier.
dont do it , as soon as you become a naturalized citizen you become obese its the law
i laughed so hard it broke the sound barrier and you couldn't hear it
It depends where you live and how much money is how nice america is for you.
To clear some things up: I never stated that I wanted to move to California, I just pointed out that I had some relatives over there. And yeah, it would probably be easier for me to live in Sweden, but this country is going to hell in my opinion with its socialistic piece of crap government wanting everyone in this country to have the SAME salary. And sure, as I said, the USA may not be flawless, but I just love the country so much. I can't really explain why, I just do. I'm 15, by the way.
I wish my country was socialist.

Americans love you OP. You should come on over, forget the American bashers in here. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] Plus, we'd love to have you legally enter rather than some Mexican cross the border. A lot of people honor that over here, considering the difficulty.
Its hilarious seeing the 13 year old American kids crying about how they would rather live in Sweden when they probably never even left their own city or paid taxes in their life (hint, its more expensive in Sweden). Also you should study hard and if you want to you should look for some sort of grant or scholarship that allows you to study college in the US. We have some really good colleges despite being expensive. If you have a 4yr degree or a masters degree I believe it is much easier to get a work visa, and with that it usually comes with citizenship after a few years. Also girls in the US love accents (minus Indian, Chinese, and Spanish accents). Good luck. As stated in the above post, Americans are nice. At least here down in the south, despite what people say. Texas is one of the friendliest states I've ever been in tbh. Its seriously like 50% White and 50% Mexican and we all get along. If you get into Arkansas and those states is where you see backwoods shit.
Orange County is your best bet if you come to West Coast, its a lot cleaner and there are more white people. I'm being sincere here. nothings better than personal experience.
Wow, that's racist. And orange county sucks.
