The half life symbol garagaga
I would say it's just a lambda and not meant to have a Half-Life connection, but it is orange and has a circle around it. Dead giveaway.
The Ryugyong Hotel just reminds me on how sad North Korea is.
That Cathedral looks creepy as fuck.
Live fairly near Gary Indiana! Road trip!
Town where I used to go to college had an abandoned Mental Insitution which was partially burned down. Sounds fun, am I right?
Severalls Hospital, (or Severalls Asylum as its was originally known) Colchester, opened in 1913 for 1800 patients. It is based on the “echelon plan”, which is a specific arrangement of wards, offices and services within easy reach of each other by a network of interconnecting corridors.

I want to go to the waterpark just to say I was there.
Those British sea forts look awesome.
The Lambda was used in Half Life because it is sometimes used in a way related to half life. (The real half life, not the game.) Just in case some of you didn't know.
I read about the Ryugyung Hotel a while back. For a shitty country, they have some of the coolest architecture in the world!
They started to work on that Ryugyong Hotel again.

Not that it will ever have a single tenant thought.
But why does it exist?
Even Deserted Russian towns have Half-Life nerds.
Can anyone make out the number on the wall? I want to call it for a "Good Fuck"

For some reason I don't want to stare at the center of that photo.
I remember growing up my dad telling me about a time he and some friends visited an abandoned missile silo in Nebraska. A good bit of it was filled with water, and the walls were stripped of wiring. Not long after their visit, maybe a week or two later the silo apparently collapsed on a group of other trespassers. Needless to say they died. Interesting though. I'd still love to see a silo myself someday, despite his story.
The detroit ruins look so amazing, it's fascinating to read about how even a modern city had something of a schism cover up.

Have fun lol
You should go there for real. It is very very creepy and it makes the hair on the back of you neck stand up. Also always the feeling of someone watching you.
I been out there in the day and at night and even with a parapsychology friend of mine...
this is one for ghost hunters.
I did bring some souvenirs from there also, One was an old underwood typewriter, a light fixture from the gym, the basket ball goal hoop, and a metal try from the cafeteria.
Oh hey look at this:

I live close by too, can I go with?
But seriously, I would love to go to0 prypiat. It would be great, I could explore the buildings, act like I'm in S.T.A.L.K.E.R and then fall through a floor and catch cancer!
But that one place in Japan looked epic, I would so love to go there by conning buck toothed fisherman to help me break the law!
Tourist, helping break Americas foriegn relations since 1957!
