I actually don't care for Explosions in the Sky. I'm a huge fan of post rock but they don't meet my standards. Too much "deedly deedly deedly" ruins post rock; too many bands just bump out 15 minute tracks with repeating "deedly deedly deedlies."

I love shit like Grails that mix it up more;

Not to be a dick or anything, but Explosions in the Sky is sort of like "entry level" post rock. Once you spend more time looking through more artists you come across many more worthwhile and special artists.
