This whole thread is really just a rehash of the age old problem, is the use of force against children necessary. In this case I have to say I agree with the OP. I agree that many ways could have been implemented more effectively and more sensibly but what happened in the end was the fault of the aggravator not the aggravated. He had his women with him, the kid was being egged on, he probably had an adrenaline rush, causing him to act in such and abrupt way but one thing is for sure. That kid won't skip people in the line again.
