So a new Circulatory System LP and The Olivia Tremor Control's third and final album will be released this year. In case anyone cares about Elephant 6 bands.
Wolves In The Throne Room should be releasing an album called Celestite this year. Also Woods Of Desolation released a pretty good album a few days ago.
So the new st vincent album is awesome
Not much good stuff being released for the moment, will be hard to top 2013, a fantastis music year.
debut self-title album by Synaesthesia, a british prog rock band was released recently, its pretty solid, sounds a lot like a modern rendition of Genesis' classic Selling England by the Pound

finnish heavy metal band Stam1na released a new album, SLK, very solid if you don't dislike finnish vocals, a bit more black metal-y than their other stuff

new single from japanese experimental metal band Dir En Grey, Sustain the Untruth, worthy successor to Dum Spiro Spero, can't wait for their next full release

Not much good stuff being released for the moment, will be hard to top 2013, a fantastis music year.
2012 was undoubtedly better than 2013 even
Not much good stuff being released for the moment.
how many have you heard so far?
Soreption's second album is out tomorrow and if these 2 are anything to go by, this might be one of my favorite albums this year.
new Tears for Fears album this year.
how many have you heard so far?
Hmm not much, the new foster the people single was decent but not that special. Liked the nile rodgers and tensnake collab: Love sublime.
new Tears for Fears album this year.
is this a good thing or a bad thing i dont know
is this a good thing or a bad thing i dont know
I'm somewhat hopeful, the main singer's still got it and the covers they posted on their channel were neat.
Boris have a new release this year (which should come as a surprise to no-one) Rerelease of the three archive CDs already out, along with another three, Archive 0,4 and 5, spread across two releases
Will it be called Heavy Rocks?
Not much good stuff being released for the moment, will be hard to top 2013, a fantastis music year.
2013 was basically the people who made excellent albums in 2010 releasing okay, sometimes mediocre, follow ups.
New Issues album is p nice, the R&B influence really brings new stuff to the table Shame FP doesn't have more of a -core following
New Issues album is p nice, the R&B influence really brings new stuff to the table Shame FP doesn't have more of a -core following
I don't get the hate for -core tbh. Sure a lot of it sounds the same but the same can be said about nearly every genre. If you don't really know a genre or a few bands in the genre everything does sound the same. Talking about -core I'm not really stoked for the new Of Mice & Men album, it sounds like pop rock meets nu-metal with -core vocals. It's pretty boring. I don't know how they are still a big band when there are way better bands in the scene at the moment. I can't name a few because I'm not really in this scene anymore but I'm sure there are better bands.
some new prog/hiphop/jazz
Whatever album Snarky Puppy finishes this year will be on my list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk0WRHV_vt8&list=UUPl2RYo0lLLqj8RaEADYclg
Anyone actually listnened to Benji yet? I'd say it has picked up from Among the Leaves with the whole simple-style shit and talking about women he's fucked.
new arcade fire album is where it's at
I doubt they'll release an album this year. 2016 would be the best bet for a new Arcade Fire album.
I doubt they'll release an album this year. 2016 would be the best bet for a new Arcade Fire album.
I think he means the Her soundtrack, it's really good.
2013 was basically the people who made excellent albums in 2010 releasing okay, sometimes mediocre, follow ups.
Cmon, Kendrick Lamar, Haim and Lorde were all fairly new.
whats the thoughts on the beck album?
Cmon, Kendrick Lamar, Haim and Lorde were all fairly new.
Kendrick dropped GKMC in 2012 and was fairly active before that. [editline]22nd February 2014[/editline] GKMC isn't even his first studio album.
