kinda disappointed with the sound though, i was hoping for it to be noisier since the album is called "Noise"
Yeah, it just sounds like a dialed back version of No One Grieve
[editline]12th April 2014[/editline]
Actually, it sounds like the Myogo EP they released last year
Cant wait for the duck sauce album.
IMMA PUT THE SAUCE ON IT!!

its ok
this is incredible post-hardcore
it also has some jeff smith-esque vocals going on in the background
not sure if the entire album will be that great doe
I'm kind of wondering if the album will differ in genre though. 'Angel' is on the tracklisting and during their live performances for the past couple years that song's been pretty subdued like that other song on the Ai Aso split. It'd be cool to hear a heavier version of it though.

nevermind i can't read
that was not what I expected, and it was pretty real

I just want another Dronevil bruh
i want more of the Pink vibe
I want more Feebacker or Flood.
you don't like Pink hakita?
I'm all for drone but they peaked with Pink and Rock Dream for me.

pink is really unremarkable
they have so many albums that are way better
Pink is my "pick a song to listen to" album, but I don't really play it all in one session.
For its similarity, I prefer Heavy Rocks (2002 album).
Pink is the most quintessential of their albums and the whole style of that record is found in most of their best releases I guess. I'd say it's one of their best but I'm a bit tired of that style. I want to see them try more unconventional stuff.
I'm talking LP version of Pink not the crappy condensed CD one. That stuff takes you places..

It's honestly so much better. The track sequencing makes more sense, and the outro to Pseudo-Bread is pretty intense.

That said, Heavy Rocks is still my favorite with Amplifier Worship in second

Does the vinyl edition have alternate/extended versions of the songs or is it just a different track sequencing?
Does the vinyl edition have alternate/extended versions of the songs or is it just a different track sequencing?
holmes, put it this way..
the CD version is the vinyl version that has had most of its weight shaved off, at least 15-20 minutes were cut off the album. I keep advocating vinyl rips which is something studios should be selling tbh, but even better is to grab a copy.

Extended songs as well. Pseudo-Bread and My Machine pass the 10 minute mark, and Farewell has an extra 2 minutes (in the intro, I think).
well i've only ever heard the CD version, i should give the LP version a spin
The LP version is worth it just for the extended version of My Machine. It takes over from Farewell and Abandoned Myself as the best track on the album
[editline]16th April 2014[/editline]
If you guys haven't heard it you need to check out the live version of Pink on the new archive releases, too.
The version of Just Abandoned Myself on there is amazing

is the quality on the new archive albums as bad as the old because the old archives made my head hurt
the best part about the vinyl edition is just abandoned my-self taking up the entire d side and still being a fun listen all the way through

Much better, except the drumless shows, but that's mostly down to how bad the recording was

prince is back with warner bros. so guess an album is coming soon which is good :)
He will also regain ownership of master recordings made during his previous deal with Warner Bros.
awww yis
New Jack white is sounding sleazy, just the way I like it.
no idea who the heck this fella is but he's one of the few chart toppers in a while that I'm intrigued to hear
