Fuck me.
I have pretty much all of those signs and symptons. Not when I open my mouth though, but my jaw is always aching and I can sorta tense muscles in my ears to get some fucked up clicking sound. I also get this sound when yawning, drinking or swallowing food.
It's probably ear wax.
You might have a punctured ear drum, what is you're line of work?
I had something like that except that in my case it made cracking noises. After a while it went but I still hear cracking noises in my neck and wrists.
I have had this problem too, though it only lasted a couple of days and then my ear and jaw became perfectly normal

It's not like you are alone.. I can only open my mouth 2 fingers wide because of it

Well fuck me sideways.
same for me bro.
I had this after an plane trip once, goes away after time, you won't even notice.
That happens to me when I have a headache and the pain spreads behind my jaw
The jaw hydraulics work PERFECTLY! Come, Igor, we have much work to do!
I had this for a while, stretching/closing you jaw makes the wax and/or fluids in your ears move around and mess up sounds. Its easily treated by pouring some waxremovingthingy in your ear and lie down for a while and let it sink in.
Worked for me at least, could be something different for you V:v:V
guys stop replying. Hes dead.
Its awesome how people always make a thread about them vomiting up blood etc. and wont go to the doctor to ask someone who actually knows.
Here's a fix for that: STOP EATING SNAKES.
Christ.
Maybe a jaw deformity, i have one where it makes some sandpaper hiss in my ear and i have to wait until college to get braces
aids
i think it might be cause of those horses you tamed
Looks like we'll have to amputate your jaw!
There is a snake inside your head.. problem solved.
my guess is that the covers are messing with you ear pressure, so when you close your jaws/yawn, little tubes that lead to the ear (Eustachian tubes) and allows air in or out of the ear to balance the pressure on both sides of your ear drum
I have same problem, I asked my doctor about it recently, he said its nothing to worry about unless its painful.
As far as I see it's the pressure in there from sinuses. I help the jets taxi out and taxi back (placing chocks and such) but we work with generators and such that get very loud. Plus we work next to the runway so when they take off it's pretty loud. It's gotten slightly quieter but honestly I was just askin if anyone had had problems like it. Saw some funny replies though.
Don't listen to the voice!

good to know you can depend on fellow facepunchers for support, and trolling much?
How clever, although being military I get free medical treatment so I'm more just avoiding being away from work by posting a problem that many people have probably experienced in their life. Although this was expected by a few people.
The cat post made me laugh though.
Why would you laugh at that? It's deadly! It's scratching your brains and ears.
The best treatment is putting a can of catfood in your ear. Or even better, one of those slimy fish treats for cats.
i had this hissing for 2 weeks , but whenever i closed my jaw REally hard, and if i get really angry
