Don't forget the other great moments like when Yoda visited Moraband, the homeworld of the Sith, when the King of the Fish People saved Mon Cala with the help of OT Cameo of the Day character, when the the first Rattataki character ever introduced in Star Wars universe turned out to be a hornless Zabrak hybrid that shaves her head, and magic! The Clone Wars introduced magic users that could compete with the force users, along with that, we might see Mace Windu in the new Rebels cartoon since long falls don't kill anybody! PT Cameos!!!
Moraband is still Korriban, they explained that the planet has had different names in the past and that actually made sense, granted Korriban is x100 better. OT character are a tad annoying but at least we see how and what they've done in the past to make them noble. Ventress thing doesn't really bother me, literally just a race of bald grey humans. Magic has been in Star Wars for God knows how long, ever hear of Sith Magic,Alchemy and the Witches of Dathomir? Plenty of those have been around for quite some time before TCW existed. Unless Lucas says so, Mace Windu is entirely unlikely to make an appearance at all.
i feel like you haven't watched TCW lol
What, because I don't think its good? I have seen it. I was unimpressed, mostly unsatisfied and while some allowances for dark occurances surprised me, I didn't think much of it all. Hence, mediocre. I acknowledged that it got better in later seasons in the first sentence.

[editline]22nd September 2014[/editline]
Unless Lucas says so, Mace Windu is entirely unlikely to make an appearance at all.
You mean Disney/The Head of LucasFilm. They control everything now, they can decide if Mace comes back or not.
It's got charm, colour, humour and whimsy adventure. I love it. People forget how light and playful Star Wars was. It was very much the Guardians of the Galaxy of it's time. Empire was dark but it was chock full of jokes and comic relief. And colour, watching those films again the other day made me realise how colourful they were compared to the Clone Wars Era use of browns, blacks and reds. Somewhere along the line Star Wars became serious. Political. Action focused. Rammed with unnecessary drama. And teenage moodiness. I can't believe people actually want a gritty Star Wars over this. That's not what Star Wars should be about. It's never what it should be about. It should be light and fun. Lucas' attempt to make it believable and real in the last decade or so is what fucked it up to begin with. [editline]22nd September 2014[/editline] Theres a novel out called Star Wars New Dawn. It's the Rebels characters in a gritty story where people get violently killed and beaten up. Theres one rather graphic beating scene where a guy loses teeth and gets covered in blood. Somebody else screams in horror as they're forced into Acid by a cold unfeeling robot businessman. It's boring. The Rebels characters are the most interesting bit. Everything else is trying so hard to be grown up it's forgotten that the 1977 original's chief audience was children and families.
Tron Uprising disagrees with you.
Tron Uprising was silently cancelled for being "too bleak and too adult". This property didn't have the same social connotations then, and it certainly doesn't now. Going "mature" was TCW's primary arc and means, they aren't going to do the same with Rebels, particularly when they have a movie that will fill that niche just fine as it is. This is a light tie-in, just like the Marvel XD offerings have been.

Moraband is its name now, Korriban is non-canon and never existed in the new Canon in any form (SWTOR is non-canon). Magic was always grouped under the Force powers category, now its entirely different and has nothing to do with the force according to Disney canon. Mace Windu coming back would bring new toy sales and popularity to Star Wars: Rebels. He's coming back, Disney won't miss out on a opportunity like that. Especially since fans fell for the whole return of Darth Maul campaign they had a few years ago. Also Lucas is irrelevant now, nothing he says is the final word in the Star Wars, that belongs to Disney and whoever they appoint to control the universe of Star Wars.
So with extended universe gone, is this canon now? Or is this not canon?
They explained it had different names, then that was retconned again by Disney recently.
Where, give me a source. The Black Sun is a criminal organization on Mustufar, The CR-90 Coreillian Corvette is now a Alderaan Cruiser, Darth Bane is only a force spirit that Yoda encountered on Moraband, the Republic has existed for only a 1000 years. , there was no reformation otherwise. Welcome to the new Star Wars, we can only watch and wait to see if the new universe brings a lot of material back in order or if Disney keeps it erased.

It is possible that all "magic" traditions were simply different methods of accessing the same Force, or were emanations of different aspects of it. More so than the Force, magic potency could be trapped in artifacts or locations—but again, this may be just due to different methods of accessing and using the Force." [editline]23rd September 2014[/editline] How ever it does mention the Witches of Dathomir are Dark Side users, so that was changed in Clone Wars. [editline]23rd September 2014[/editline] What is funny though, the depiction of the Valley of the Dark Lords in Clone Wars, looks identical to the Sith Acadamy from SWTOR [t]http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140713174327/starwars/images/2/20/Valley_of_the_Dark_Lords_TCW.png[/t]

People bitched just as they are about this when TCW started too. I don't care what you personally thought of it, the point originally was that OVERALL people viewed TCW incredibly negatively for it being "too kiddy", and it turned into something a majority of people praise and really enjoy.

Although, I rewatched Season 1, and it wasn't THAT bad. Wasn't good, but wasn't bad.
Yeah, most of the negativity came from the apprehensiveness towards the artstyle at first, but it definitely redeems itself really quickly
