It's not even remotely possible to recover from this.
Honestly, the opening lines are all you really need to hear from either of them. Ian opens with some nice wordplay with a fun reference to an older video and basically shows how little he'll care for Rice throwing gay jokes his way. Rice opens by calling Ian obsessed (mr. I have absolutely no self-awareness) and making an incest joke for no reason.
How can anyone stand ricegum Like I watched his response diss and the eviction video and holy hell this man is obnoxious. He's not funny, his rapping is terrible, he does shitty things to people...literally the only interesting thing he has is money. That's all. I already hate this man.

They see a guy with money, a big house, and models paid to stand around ogling him and dancing and they think that his life must be perfect. It's wish fulfillment fantasy that's been around for literally decades. Only these days it's less about rappers flaunting their wealth and more about youtubers like Ricegum flaunting their wealth since more children watch youtube now. It requires you not think too hard lest you realize how it's all just image, but people like to think these things are achievable and would bring them happiness. It also helps that children's brains aren't mature enough to where they can realize these people's energetic bouncy personalities are completely for the camera. They think these are just real people living their real lives.
