I think he took the roast with stride and responded in the best way possible, parodying the things he likes that he got roasted about, IE touring his mansion and touting money. The supreme make-it-rain gun was incredible.
he didn't deny anything, didn't try to clap back with no prep, didn't look terrified while saying "it doesn't bother me", he rolled with the goofs. Doesn't mean he's scott-free given his roast involved a TON of incriminating video of himself saying the things instead of Ian making conjecture, BUT at least he didn't worsen the situation.
I do see what he's doing here though, hyping up an upcoming video, which would bait people into subbing out of morbid curiosity for how he could bounce back

I agree, that was probably the best move he could possibly make, until he started on about how he was going to take a few days to form a response. If he made a joke after that about calling up his ghost writers to help him, that would've been even better. But there's nothing that he can do to get past the whole rape comments, harassing women online, and his comments about underaged girls.
