Got quoted £5000 on a Fiesta as a provisional and I'd prefer a Fiesta over a Corsa TBH.

You're probably gonna have to be a named driver on your parents policy with that car unless you want to get raped or earn more money than you have sense
Put on your parents as named drivers while still having yourself as the main driver. Should knock a couple grand off at least.

I'm 17 in 3 months and really, insurance is just so expensive. I'm getting insured on my dads company policy though, so my insurance shouldn't be too bad.
For those that cannot get insured on a parents company policy, check insurance companies which limit your mileage etc.
