Taken. Not sure if it should be in the list, but it was awesome.
Well all Luc Besson's works are awesome.
Avatar sucking fucks.
Up.
Anything Pixar makes manages to become solid gold.
Avatar is beating Inglourious Basterds.
I am sad.

Taken was only produced by Besson.

I know the Second Unit cameraman. Carl Bartels. Worked with him on an independent film. Cool as fuck dude. He's seen in the special features, just a glimpse.
District 9 and Inglourious Basterds were both fantastic, I can't possibly choose.
District 9. Or Up...
If Avatar wins I die.

One thing I really liked though, was the CGI. You really believed that Prawns had mass.[/QUOTE]
Agreed. I'm a fucking weirdo, so I usually pick out bad CG and notice it all through the film This though, I was completely immersed in the action, it was awesome. Film was really great too. So, either up, Inglourious Basterds, or District 9 for me. I voted for up, but I'd be happy with any of them taking the prize.

agreed. Avatar was just great for visuals but as far as story goes... you've heard it before.
Pocohantas.
District 9 is winning, this is a glorious day. Also, UP was pretty good and the beginning was sad, but the rest of the movie was really uplifting (no pun intended)
I'm pretty sure Avatar will win this year.
