Everyone thinks that hating MW2 is just a bandwagon. No it's not, there are legitimate reasons to hate it, same with Medal of Honor.
I hate when people call me a bandwagoner for that. I absolutely despise those games with legitimate reasons for doing so.
This thread.... :irony:
a lot of people have hard times thinking for themselves
Fuck you, i have an app that thinks for me
I don't mean just with FP btw, I mean with everything [editline]01:49AM[/editline] and everyone
It's called conformity and nonconformity. People are more likely to conform to a specific opinion depending on the circumstances. Such as taking the opinions of other Facepunchers over that of their own or disliking a band for whatever reason and checking them out at a later date.
Bandwagoning is, as far I have found, human nature.
/thread
There's the bandwagoners. Then there's the people who go against EVERY bandwagon so that they can say that they're different. And then there's the few normal people like me who still hold true to their own tastes.
I like what I like, I don't think of it as taking a stand, I like it - facepunch don't, it's not like we're enemies because of that. I often get an opinion of a game in forehand though. Like I read about a game and how bad it is and I get it and I think it's bad, although I probabl would have really liked it.
And then there's the few normal people like me who still hold true to their own tastes.
Lots of people do that...
There's this character I read about named Ignatius J. Reilly who would kill before joining any bandwagon, even if his opinions were total shit. I wish I were kind of like that.
If a :bandwagon: is a :bandwagon:, then a :bandwagon: is a :bandwagon:. Is your :bandwagon: a :bandwagon:?
Don't forget, by :bandwagon:ing with our :bandwagon:ing after you thought our :bandwagon:ing was total bullshit you're :bandwagon:ing yourself. Don't not unfall into our :bandwagon:ing schemes or we will :bandwagon: you with your :bandwagon:ing and :bandwagon: our own mothers into :bandwagon:ing with you. Good day, sir.
this happens in every fp thread. people see some kind of argument that isn't even that good but because it's sort of offensive and a novelty they repeat it like mindless drones lol!

There's candy in the :bandwagon:
Form your own opinion, don't be a sheep. baaaaaaah
If the opinion of a bunch of idiots you don't even know affects you that much you're weak minded and dumb
Blaming people of bandwagoning is also a form of bandwagon itself! Person A: "I don't like Halo because it's Blahblahblah" Person B: "Oh, just get off the Halo Sucks Bandwagon already! It's a good game!" Replace Halo with anything in the world that you want, and replace game with whatever that object is. And there you go! Instant come-back template.
There needs to be a Godwin's Law for every time someone accuses someone else of being on a bandwagon in a argument. A: "I don't like eating shit" B: "GET OFF THE ANTI-SHIT BANDWAGON YOU FUCK"
thats life
This is exactly what happened to MW2. We had a subforum about it every one discussed it and loved it, now when you even make a brilliant machinima in MW2, or comix about it, every one rates you dumb because it's MW2.
i like to :russbus: more
There was a MW2 subforum?
The call of duty subforum
I hate bandwagons, almost as much as I hate Justin Bieber. [editline]12:00AM[/editline]
This is exactly what happened to MW2. We had a subforum about it every one discussed it and loved it, now when you even make a brilliant machinima in MW2, or comix about it, every one rates you dumb because it's MW2.
What? People thought MW2 was Satan incarnate before it came out, because of the dedicated server thing. Then it turned out to be a slightly lackluster sequel with balance issues and a poorly paced campaign, and people kept hating it.
I find myself fighting bandwagons inside my head, as we are bound to follow them with out noticing. And whenever i think about something i think with myself ''wait, is it trully like that?Perhaps not, it's just bandwagon probably'' And it's even worse when you try to go agaisnt the bandwagon and you find they were right. Bandwagons are a bitch really.
Furry haters think that their hate makes perfect sense and they're 100% correct in advocating murder of them
in 99.99999% they are joking or they are empty threats, saying that is like calling the police when someone says "if you break my calculator i will KILL you"

Even when you're not on a :bandwagon: you're on a :bandwagon:
Unfortunately human beings have opinions.
I'm non-conformist like every other non-conformist.
