There's guns too, atleast mounted ones. (You can see one in the gallery, right at the bottom, but it's nothing that impressive really)
This looks awesome, and reminded me of ARMA2 a lot, lookin forward to trying this out.
EDIT: Well, I think you can see the gun in the video with the truck anyway. I would love this on ARMA or some game similar to that, the physics of the vehicles looks so much better.

Yes, that gun will work and yes there will be actual prey to shoot at!

There could be some undersea climates with different vegetation according to a dev. Submarines anyone?
Also, multiple planets like the Moon and Mars will also likely be in it!

Reminds me a lot of Infinity Universe.
The potential.
Incredible.
this would be awesome with multiplayer etc
dat tree
It's still got that one thing that every 3D engie has, being able to see the ground pattern, I dont know, ill be completely emersed in this, and then ill notice the repeating ground pattern and all immersion is lost, im sorry for this little pick at it, but it is somtimes just so obvious that the ground texture is repeating, im sure there's some way to make it not repeat (I.E. randomly rotating the texture so you dont notice the repeat, I dunno, but im sure there's a way around it.)
Fucking offroading simulator on this thing.
I am in love with an engine.
Five people driving fast race cars below while some guys are having an acrobatic flying contest while some tanks are shooting at each other while some guy is out hunting deer while two bros are chilling in the motherfucking ISS high above. FUCK YEAH!
I really hope it has multiplayer :D
What the..

I emailed them about the multiplayer, the don't know yet if it will have multiplayer
Now if he could write an equally awesome netcode to support massive battles >1000 players he would have the perfect Battlefield 3 game.
It looks a smaller version (less planets) of the infinity engine.

I think i would prefer infinity because there are billions more stars!

I read on the forum, and they mentioned they were working on "networking". Don't know if they mean multiplayer by that, but i surely hope so.

They're working on the textures. They've already improved it by miles since the last update (which really had obvious repeating tiles)

You can't really compare them, seeing as Infinity is much more space based and this is mainly ground/planetary based.
Infininity still looks better on ground level though. And the trees in this annoy me, they are just sprites.

Oh, that's why he said "The whole engine itself will be about 13gb, and the planets will be downloaded in chunks"
The whole engine itself will be about 13gb"
oh wow
oh wow
what do you expect for something that is great, pretty, massive and has physics
Oh, that's why he said "The whole engine itself will be about 13gb, and the planets will be downloaded in chunks"
No.
The engine itself will be hundreds of MB, but the data for planet Earth are 13GB. The data do not have to be downloaded in advance, the engine downloads them progressively on demand. You'd have to visit every place on Earth in low altitude for the engine to download the whole dataset. That would take quite a long time.

and a lot of vehicles
reminds me of arma
I've always wanted something like this. Imagine having Top Gear like roadtrips with one guy driving a car, one guy flying a plane and one guy driving a boat or whatever and seeing who can get to a specific point faster.

:gizz:
[sp] the plane would always win, becuase it doesnt have to deal with air traffic in a video game.[/sp] :geno:
I wanna visit the spot my house is on, just to see what it looks like in this.
I wonder how many players will be able to be on a planet at the same time

Yup, you can drive trucks/cars/ect.
These guys are the proof god exists. No wait, they are gods !
I really hope this has multiplayer.
Even if it doesn't, I'm still getting it.
