This is hilarious. It's a near perfect parody of generic anime.

this is a prime example of something that actually went viral. Some people see it, show it to their friends, it snowballs and gains momentum on its own without being forced down anybody's throat with advertising or bribery of any sort
that's why I hate the term viral so much, you only ever hear it nowadays if it's from some major advertising company talking about how X famous person made a ~viral video~ and you just gotta see it. I hate the mere concept of an elderly executive sitting there going "we need to make this viral", much like everyone calling everything 'grass roots' after the tea party rose to power (ironically through a reinforced concrete foundation by comparison)
I hope grandu sponsor desu notices your show.
I don't even know or like anime and I laughed. 11/10 it was meh.
Nice job Op. I'll show this to my Japanese friends and those two loud as fuck Otaku girls that ride the train in the morning. They are not what you would call kawaii however.
It parodied American culture and animation whilst throwing a few pastiches of japanese anime conventions in there (the stripperific transformation scene, monster of the week formula, "evil twin" plot point mid season etc)
At one point there's even a united states of Japan flag and references to mean girls.
it should be noted that a lot of the translation was ad-libbed by the voice actors who did panty and stocking, so there's a good number of cultural references in quotes that may not have originally been the same originally. The two VA's rewrote the script to make sure jokes hit home with English audiences and were only given the instruction to make it as vulgar as you can possibly get through the censors. Their favorite pastime was moshing words together to call each other awful names, there are times you can hear the held back laughter in how they say stuff

I've always wanted to get into script writing/story boarding for animated shows.
Course my art style is ass and most of the scripts and stories I write belong to as an episode of Twin Peaks or X-Files.
i had to

Ah yes, i agree.
Eric what's the sitrep on Episode 2?
Anime "Senpai Club" has become a hot topic now Moe foreigners were manufactured.
"Moe foreigners were manufactured"
We already finished part 2 before posting the first part, we're just going to make some slight script changes after seeing the response to the first episode. We're going to wait until we finish a few scenes for part 3 before we post part 2, so we can have some preview stuff at the end of part 2 and so that the wait between part 2 and 3 won't be too long.
Right now, however, we're working on a small valentines short as a break from the Senpai Club work, since it's been our main project since august. After that we'll continue.
So, basically, Senpai Club - Episode 1, Part 2 will be out in a few weeks, probably a week or so after valentines

Only a million? I give it no less than two. It's been only a week after all.
People with big connections in Japan are talking to us on Skype, wow
One guy wants to help us book a booth at Comiket
Wow that's great! I mean, the title of the thread is a joke but would you actually be interested in putting something like that on TV?
I guess so? I really have no idea. This is all going so fast I haven't had time to think about it
